The objective of this memory is to improve the control of an electrical network by incorporating shunt FACT devises "STATCOM" and using the particle swarm optimization method in order to minimize the losses of active powers. The tested network is Standard IEEE 30 bus system, which we have applied an overload of 50% of rated load. The simulation results clearly show the contribution of the reactive power injected by the STACOMs on the improvement of the amplitude of the voltage of the buses of the network. The PSO optimization program has reduced active network losses by adjusting the voltages at buses generation. |
