المستخلص: • عنوان البحث: دراسة عامة لكتب السنن مع دراسة سنن الإمام أبي داود سليمان بن الأشعث السجستاني )ت 275 ه( أنموذجا. • نهج البحث: بحث موضوعي. • الأقسام الرئيسة للبحث: المقدمة وفيها خطة البحث، ومنهج العمل فيه. الفصل الأول: الدراسة العامة لكتب السنن، وتنقسم إلى ستة مباحث: المبحث الأول: التعريف بكتب السنن. المبحث الثاني: نبذة تاريخية عن كتب السنن ومراحل التصنيف فيها. المبحث الثالث: أهمية التصنيف في كتب السنن. المبحث الرابع: جهود العلماء في كتب السنن، وطرق جمعهم لمادتها العلمية. المبحث الخامس: خصائص كتب السنن وفوائدها، وفيه مطلبان: المطلب الأول: خصائص كتب السنن. المطلب الثاني: فوائد كتب السنن. المبحث السادس: أهم المؤلفات في كتب السنن. الفصل الثاني: دراسة كتاب سنن أبي داود؛ وينقسم إلى ثمانية مباحث: المبحث الأول: التعريف بالمؤلف، وبيان اسم كتابه، وفيه مطلبان: المطلب الأول: تعريف موجز بالمؤلف. المطلب الثاني: بيان اسم الكتاب. المبحث الثاني: سبب تأليف أبي داود لكتابه السنن، وتاريخ تصنيفه. المبحث الثالث: إبراز جهد الإمام أبي داود، وبيان منهجه في كتابه، مع التمثيل بنماذج من الكتاب؛ وفيه مطلبان: المطلب الأول: جهده في (السنن). المطلب الثاني: منهجه في (السنن) المبحث الرابع: طريقة البحث في سنن أبي داود والإفادة منه. المبحث الخامس: أهمية كتاب سنن أبي داود. المبحث السادس: عناية العلماء بسنن أبي داود. المبحث السابع: ميزات الكتاب، والمآخذ عليه، وفيه مطلبان: المطلب الأول: ميزات الكتاب وخصائصه. المطلب الثاني: المآخذ على الكتاب ومناقشتها. المبحث الثامن: نسخ سنن أبي داود الخطية وطبعاته، وفيه مطلبان: المطلب الأول: نسخ سنن أبي داود الخطية، وأماكن وجودها. المطلب الثاني: طبعات سنن أبي داود، وترشيح الأفضل منها، مع ذكر مبررات الترشيح. الخاتمة: ختمت بها البحث، وضمنتها أهم النتائج والتوصيات التي توصلت إليها بفضل الله تعالى. الفهارس الفنية: ذيلت عملي هذا بفهرسين، وهي كالتالي: 1- فهرس المصادر والمراجع،2- فهرس الموضوعات. • أبرز نتائج البحث: قدم التصنيف في كتب السنن؛ فإنها من أوائل ما صنف من كتب السنة. المصنفات في كتب السنن في أول ظهورها كانت تجمع بين المرفوع وغيره، ثم استقرت بعد ذلك على ذكر المرفوع فقط ولا تذكر غيره إلا استشهادا. الإمام أبا داود صنف كتابه (السنن) قبل سنة إحدى وأربعين ومئتين للهجرة. عناية أهل العلم بكتاب " سنن أبي داود" فاقت غيره من كتب السنن. •أهم التوصيات: إعادة تحقيق (سنن أبي داود) مع بقية الكتب الستة، والتي هي أصول كتب السنة، من قبل مراكز علمية تقوم عليها الحكومات، بدلا من الجهود الفردية؛ فإن الحاجة إلى ذلك ماسة. طباعة الرسائل العلمية المتعلقة بكتاب " سنن أبي داود " مع أهميتها، بدلا من كونها حبيسة المكتبات في الجامعات.

* Research Title : An overall study of Sunan Books with Studying the Book of “ Sunan AlImam Abi Dawud Sulayman Ibn AlAshath AlSijistani “ as a model. in (275 H). * Research Approach : Objective Research (Substantive Discussion) * Major Parts of the Research : - An introduction, including the research plan and the working methodology followed in it. First Chapter : The General Study of Sunan Books , it is divided into six themes: The First Theme : The definition of the Sunan books. The Second Theme : A historical overview of the books of Sunan and the stages of classification in it . The Third Theme: The significance of classification in the Sunan books . The Fourth Theme: The efforts of scholars in the Sunan books, and their ways of collecting their study material . The Fifth Theme : Characteristics and benefits of Sunan books, and there’re two topics : The First Topic: Characteristics of Sunan books, and the Second Topic : Benefits of Sunan books. The Sixth Theme : Major writings in the Sunan books. Second Chapter: The Study of Sunan Abi Dawud Book ,and it is divided into eight themes: The First Theme : Defining (introducing) the author, with indicating the name of his book. And there’re also two topics : The First Topic: A brief introduction to the author, and the Second Topic: Indication of the name of his book. The Second Theme: Abi Dawud’s reason for writing his book (Sunan), and its classification date . The Third Theme : Highlighting the effort of Imam Abi Dawud, and explaining the approach used in his book, with examples from the book , and there’re two topics : The First Topic: His effort in his (Sunan) book. The Second Topic : His approach in his (Sunan) book. The Fourth Theme: Search mode in Sunan Abi Dawud, and how to benefit from it. The Fifth Theme: The importance of (Sunan Abi Dawud) book. The Sixth Theme: Scholars’ attention to (Sunan Abi Dawud) book . The Seventh Theme: Benefits and shortcomings of Sunan book, and there’re two topics: The First Topic: Benefits and features of Sunan book. The Second Topic: Shortcomings of Sunan book , with discussing them . The Eighth Theme : Hard copies (transcriptions) and versions of Sunan book , and there’re two topics : The First Topic: Copies of Sunan book, and the places where they are . The Second Topic : Versions of Sunan book , with nominating the best version and mentioning the reasons for nomination . The Conclusion : I concluded the research with this conclusion, which included the most significant findings and recommendations that I reached, by the grace of Allah. Technical Indexes : I appended two indexes to this research, they are as follows : (1) Index of sources and references . (2) Index of topics. * Most Remarkable Findings of the Research : The classification in the books of Sunan is ancient; They are one of the first books compiled of the Sunnah. The compilations in the the Sunnah books at their first appearance were a combination of AlMarfoue and the other, then it has been agreed on mentioning AlMarfoue only without mentioning others except by citation. Imam Abi Dawood compiled his book (Sunan) before the year of 241 H (Two Hundred Forty One Hijri). The interest of scholars in the book (Sunan Abi Dawood) exceeded other books of Sunan. * Most Significant Recommendations : Rebalancing (Sunan Abi Dawud) with the rest of the six books, which are the origins of the books of the Sunnah, by scholarly centers on which governments are based, rather than by individual efforts; the need for that is urgent. Printing the scientific theses related to the (Sunan Abi Dawud) book, with mentioning their importance, instead of being confined to the university libraries.
