The research aims to design innovative wall hangings inspired by different and new artistic sources such as the Indian civilization while providing a preliminary information study about India and the Indian civilization in its historical eras, the Indian culture, and the various Indian arts such as architecture, sculpture, photography, and others. It became clear from the study of motifs and decorative units, where similarity was found between some of them and the historical legacy of the Middle East with its various civilizations. The research presented a set of designs inspired by the decorative units and the colors of Indian art in a way that does not contradict the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Middle East to keep pace with the public taste and keep up with new ideas in the work of interior decoration of various establishments and institutions. The designs were implemented using a variety of production methods such as Joblaan and handiwork twirl and how to improve the physical and mechanical properties of textile hangings to suit the functional performance.
