|a ينقل Double Diamondالتابع لمجلس التصميم بوضوح عملية تصميم Design process للمصممين وغير المصممين على حد سواء. يمثل الماستان Double Diamond عملية استكشاف قضية على نطاق أوسع أو بعمق (تفكير متباين) ثم اتخاذ إجراءات مركزة (تفكير متقارب). اكتشف Discover: الماس الأول يساعد الناس على فهم المشكلة بدلا من افتراضها. أنها تنطوي على التحدث وقضاء الوقت مع الأشخاص المتضررين من القضايا.\nحدد Define: يمكن أن تساعد الرؤية التي تم جمعها من مرحلة الاكتشاف على تحديد التحدي بطريقة مختلفة.\nطور Develop: يشجع الماس الثاني الأشخاص على إعطاء إجابات مختلفة للمشكلة المحددة بوضوح، والسعي إلى الإلهام من أماكن أخرى والمشاركة في التصميم مع مجموعة من الأشخاص المختلفين.\nإيصال Deliver: يتضمن التسليم اختبار حلول مختلفة على نطاق صغير، ورفض تلك التي لن تعمل وتحسين الحلول التي ستنجح.\nإشكالية البحث Research Ambiguity أن التفكير في عملية التصميم يجب أن يكون متواكبا مع معطيات تكنولوجيا المعلومات المعاصرة التي يسودها السرعة والدقة، لذا فان الزمن الكبير الضائع في العملية التصميمية هو ركن الزاوية في تقدم أو تأخر العملية، وهنا يظهر دور الزمن الحيوي والحرج Critical في عملية التصميم.\nمنهجية الماس المزدوج Double Diamond كنموذج مستعارMetaphor لعملية تصميم Design Process تحتاج إلى إعادة عرضها بشكل يعظم الاستفادة منها وتعميم استخدامها في مجالات التصميم عموما ومجال التصميم الصناعي علي وجه الخصوص. هدف البحث Research Objective إعادة عرض منهجية الماس المزدوج Double Diamond كنموذج مستعار Metaphor لعملية تصميم Design Process، تساهم في ضبط الإطار الزمني Time framework للعملية من جانب والاستفادة من التفكير التشعبي/ التقربى من جانب آخر. منهجية البحث Research Approach البحث يتبع المنهج الاستقرائي Inductive Approach.\n

|f The Design Board's Double Diamond clearly conveys the design process for designers and non-designers alike. The Double Diamond is the process of exploring an issue on a larger scale or in-depth (divergent thinking) and then taking focused action (convergent thinking). Discover: The first diamond helps people understand the problem rather than assume it. It involves talking and spending time with people affected by issues.\nDefine: The vision collected from the discovery phase can help identify the challenge in a different way.\nDevelop: The second diamond encourages people to give different answers to the clearly defined problem, seek inspiration from other places, and engage in design with a group of different people.\nDeliver: Delivery involves testing different solutions on a small scale, rejecting those that won't work, and optimizing solutions that will work.\nResearch Ambiguity is that thinking about the design process must be in line with contemporary IT data that is fast and accurate. Therefore, the huge amount of time lost in the design process is the cornerstone in the progress or otherwise of the process, and here emerges the role of the vital and critical time in the design process.\nThe Double Diamond methodology as a Metaphor model of the Design Process needs to be reintroduced to magnify and generalize its use in the design areas in general and industrial design in particular. The research objective is to represent the Double Diamond methodology as a Metaphor for the Design Process, contributing to adjusting the time framework of the process on one side and benefiting from hyper/proximity thinking on the other.
