المستخلص: الملابس المصنعة من الجلود الطبيعية إضافة قيمة للموضة. فهي من الأنماط التي لا ترتبط بموسم أو موضة رائجة بل هي من الثوابت في كل شتاء، كما أنها تمنح طلة أنيقة وجميلة بأقل عناء يذكر، كما أنه يسهل تنسيقها مع الغالبية العظمى من الملابس بمختلف ألوانها. أن العناية بالملابس الجلدية من الأمور الصعبة، فالجلود يصعب تنظيفها من البقع والعناية بها والمحافظة عليها. كما أنه بتخزينها بمرور الوقت نجد أن الجلد بدأ في التشقق والانثناء والكرمشة. لذلك اهتم البحث بدراسة الطرق المختلفة للتنظيف والعناية بالملابس الجلدية وطرق تخزينها وحفظها وتأثير ذلك على جودة الجلود المصنوع منها الملابس، والتعرف على أفضل هذه الطرق. كما يهدف هذا البحث إلى التوصل إلى أسلوب علمي تحليلي لتحديد أفضل طرق التنظيف للملابس المصنعة من الجلود الطبيعية، وكيفية العناية بالملابس الجلدية للحصول على أطول عمر استهلاكي لها بدون حدوث تدهور في الخواص الجمالية والوظيفية للملبس. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن الطريقة الأفضل لتنظيف الملابس الجلدية المصنوعة من جلود الضأن هي التنظيف اليدوي بالماء حيث كانت النتائج أفضل من استخدام التنظيف الجاف (dry clean) بينما أوضحت نتائج الاختبارات أن الطريقة الأفضل لتنظيف الملابس الجلدية المصنوعة من جلود الماعز هي التنظيف الجاف. كما أنه يمكن حساب العمر الاستهلاكي لعينات البحث من الجواكت الجلدية من خلال نتائج اختبارات خواص الأداء وبذلك يكون العمر الاستهلاكي للجاكيت المصنوع من جلد الماعز أطول من الجاكيت المصنوع من جلد الضأن.

Clothes made of natural leather add value to fashion. It is one of the styles that is not associated with a season or a popular fashion, but rather it is one of the constants in every winter, and it gives an elegant and beautiful look with minimal trouble, and it is easy to coordinate with the vast majority of clothes of various colors. Caring for leather clothing is difficult, as leather is difficult to clean from stains, care for, and maintain. Also, by storing it over time, we find that the leather began to crack, twisting, and wrinkle. Therefore, the research was interested in studying the different methods of cleaning and caring for leather clothes, methods of storing and preserving them, and their impact on the quality of the leather from which the clothes are made, and identifying the best of these methods. This research also aims to reach a scientific and analytical method to determine the best cleaning methods for clothes made of natural leather and how to care for leather clothes to have the longest consuming life without deteriorating the aesthetic and functional properties of the clothes. The study concluded that the best way to clean leather clothes made of sheepskin is to manually clean with water, as the results were better than dry clean, while the results of the tests demonstrated that the best way to clean leather clothes made of goatskin was dry cleaning. It is also possible to calculate the consumable life of the research samples of the leather jackets through the results of the performance characteristics tests. Thus, the life of the jacket made of goat leather is longer than the jacket made of sheep leather.
