كانت مسالة وجود الله تعالى القضية الأساس التي شغلت الفكر الإنساني من القدم، وقامت الفلسفة منذ نشأتها بالتركيز على إثبات وجود الخالق للكون وساق الفلاسفة أدلة وافرة على ذلك. بيد أن هذه الأدلة تعرضت للنقد الشديد. مما أضعف قوة استدلال الفلاسفة بها. والدراسة التي بين أيدينا قد قامت بعرض لأقوى الأدلة التي اعتمدها الفلاسفة في إثبات وجود الخالق للكون مع توجيه النقد أليها. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن الأدلة التي قدمها الفلاسفة على وجود الله لا ترتقي لأن تكون أدلة قاطعة للشكوك ودافعة للشبهة؛ وذلك لأنها قامت على مقدمات غير مسلمة في العقول الصحيحة ولتناقضها واضطرابها؛ ولهذا وجه كثير من العلماء النقد لها مبينين عدم صحة الاستدلال بها؛ ومن هنا فإن الدعوة ملحة إلى كل القائمين على صياغة مناهج العقيدة في العالم الإسلامي الآن أن يسلكوا منهج القران الكريم في الاستدلال على مسائل العقيدة الإسلامية.؛ لأنها أدلة يقينية قاطعة للشكوك وبعيدة عن التناقض، ومناسبة للعقول على اختلاف مستوياتها، إلى غير ذلك من الخصائص التي تنفرد بها أدلة القرآن الكريم.
