المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على "دوافع استخدام طلاب الجامعات الليبية لموقع "تويتر" في الحصول على المعلومات السياسية والإشباعات المتحققة منه"، وذلك بالتطبيق على كلية التربية بجامعة سرت، وتعد هذه الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية، واعتمد الباحث فيها على استمارة الاستبيان، وأسلوب المقابلة كأدوات لجمع البيانات، من عينة عشوائية قوامها "96" مفردة، بالاعتماد على نظرية الاستخدامات والإشباعات. وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى تحقيق مجموعة من الأهداف أهمها: 1-التعرف على دوافع استخدام طلبة كلية التربية بجامعة سرت لموقع التواصل الاجتماعي تويتر. 2-معرفة كيفية استخدام طلبة كلية التربية بجامعة سرت لموقع التواصل الاجتماعي تويتر، للتفاعل مع الأحداث والأوضاع السياسية الراهنة في المجتمع الليبي. 3-معرفة الإشباعات المتحققة من جراء استخدام طلبة كلية التربية بجامعة سرت لموقع التواصل الاجتماعي "تويتر". وتوصلت الدراسة لمجموعة من النتائج أهمها: 1-أوضحت نتائج الدراسة أن ما نسبته (77%) من أفراد العينة هم فقط من لديهم حساب على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي "تويتر"، أما باقي أفراد العينة والبالغة نسبتهم (23%)، فلا يملكون حسابا لهم على "تويتر" 2-أكدت الدراسة على أن أهم دوافع استخدام عينة الدراسة لموقع التواصل الاجتماعي تويتر هو "لمتابعة المواضيع الوطنية" وذلك بنسبة (59.4%). 3-توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن ما نسبته (41%) وهي النسبة الأعلى من المبحوثين يعتقدون بأن تويتر "إلى حد ما" فتح لهم المجال لاكتساب المعارف والمعلومات السياسية المختلفة.

The study aimed to identify the motives for Libyan university students to use of the" Twitter website in obtaining political information and the verified feedback from it. The population of the study was the Faculty of Education at the University of Sirte. This study is considered one of the descriptive studies, and the researcher relied on the questionnaire form and the interview method as the main methods to collect data from a random sample of 96 students based on the theory of uses and gratifications. The study aimed to achieve a set of objectives, the most important of which are: 1- Identifying the motives behind the use of Twitter by the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Sirte. 2- Knowing how students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Sirte use the social networking site Twitter to interact with events and the current political situation in Libyan society. 3- Knowing the gratifications achieved by students of the faculty of Education at the University of Sirte using the social networking site “Twitter” The study came out with a set of results, the most important of which are: 1- The results of the study showed that only (77%) of the students have accounts on the social networking site "Twitter", while the rest of students (23%) do not have accounts for them on "Twitter" 2- The study confirmed that the most important motive for using the study sample for the social networking site Twitter is to "follow up national issues," at a rate of (59.4%). 3- The results of the study concluded that 41%, which is the highest percentage of the respondents, believe that Twitter, to some extent, opened the way for them to acquire knowledge and various political information.
