المستخلص: تناولت هذه الدراسة بالبحث: مجالات الانتقاء ومراحل تطورها عند المحدثين، وقد خلصت إلى: أن مجالات الانتقاء تنقسم إلى انتقاء الكتب (الموضوعات العامة)، والأبواب (الموضوعات الخاصة)، وانتقاء المتون والألفاظ، والرجال، والأسانيد. وأن تلك المجالات لم تظهر فجأة دون تدرج، بل ترجع أصول بعضها إلى زمن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وبعضها إلى زمن الصحابة رضي الله عنهم، وبعضها إلى زمن التابعين ومن بعدهم. وأن مجالات الانتقاء قد سبقت مرحلة التصنيف، ولم تزل في تطور مستمر إلى أن تبلورت حركة التصنيف وبلغت ذروتها. فأصبح الانتقاء سببًا يدفع العالم إلى الكتابة والتصنيف، وبالتالي تكون الكتابة وسيلة تمكنه من الانتقاء، وتوصله إلى مقصده الذي قام بالانتقاء لأجله، مع العلم بأن ضوابط انتقاء الراوي ومعايير انتقاء المروي نشأت في عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثم توارث الصحابة والتابعون ومن بعدهم تلك الضوابط والمعايير التي علمهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إياها.

This study deals with research of the preferring (al-Intika) fields among the scholar of Hadiths, and the stages of the origin and improvement of preferring (al-Intika) among them, It concluded that the areas of preferring are divided into the preferring of books (general scientific subjects), the preferring of al-abvab (particle scientific subjects), and the preferring of texts and words, narrators, and transmissions. And that these areas did not appear suddenly without gradual, but rather some origins of this preferring (al-Intika) refer to the time of the Prophet peace be upon him, and some to the time of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and some to the time of the followers and after them. And that the phases of development of the preferring (al-Intika) fields have coincided with the evolution of the movement of writing and classifying hadiths, and it was still in evolution until the movement of classification has crystallized and reached its summit. It can be said that the preferring (al-Intika) is the one that drives the scholar to write and categorize in hadiths, and therefore writing of hadith is a means that enables it to be preferred, and reaches its purpose for which it was chosen for it, and that the criteria of preferring for the narrator and the measure preferring of the narration were established at first the era of the Prophet peace be upon him who taught these criterions to companions after them inherited by the followers and scholars.
