المستخلص: تتناول الورقة واسم النفي العربي ما في محاولة لتسليط الضوء على أبعاده الدلالية والتركيبية وذلك من زاوية مقارنة توظف بعض مفاهيم وتصورات التيار التوليدي الذي كان وراءه اللساني نعوم تشومسكي وتلامذته. ولفهم سلوك الأداة ما اعتمدنا بداية على الطرح التراثي والاستشراقي دلالة وتركيبا، وقدمنا بعد ذلك إسهامات عدد من اللسانيين المحدثين بخصوص بعض إشكالات النفي في علاقة بما مثل تعالق مقولات الزمن والنفي والبؤرة. ويأتي بحثنا في سياق البحوث التوليدية التي تهدف لتفسير الظواهر اللغوية عبر لسانيا في محاولة لضبط المبادئ والبارامترات وفهم آليات اشتغال اللغة بشكل أمثل.

L’article suivant abordera le marqueur de négation arabe maa pour éclaircir ses aspects sémantiques et syntaxiques en adoptant un cadre comparatif qui exploite certains concepts afférents au mouvement générativiste initié par Noam Chomsky et ses disciples. Pour assimiler le fonctionnement de maa on a fait recours d’abord aux thèses traditionnelles et orientalistes concernant les aspects sémantico-syntaxiques de cet élément. On a ensuite exposé et discuté les contributions de certains linguistes modernes relatives à certaines problématiques de la négation et son interaction avec les catégories du temps et le focus. Notre recherche s’inscrit dans le contexte des études générativistes ayant pour objectif l’explication des phénomènes linguistiques typologiquement en vue de maîtriser les principes et paramètres et comprendre les mécanismes régissant le fonctionnement de la langue d’une manière optimale.

The paper delves into the Arabic negation noun, aiming to illuminate its semantic and syntactic dimensions from a comparative perspective that employs concepts and perceptions from the generative approach pioneered by linguist Noam Chomsky and his students. To comprehend the behavior of this linguistic tool, we initially relied on the traditional and Orientalist proposition concerning meaning and structure. Subsequently, we presented contributions from several modern linguists addressing issues related to negation, such as the interrelation of the categories of time, negation, and focus. Our research is situated within the framework of generative research, seeking to interpret linguistic phenomena cross-linguistically. The goal is to discern principles and parameters, striving to understand the mechanisms of language functioning optimally. This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc.
