|a تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعريف بالإمام الروياني، وبيان مكانة الإمام الرويانى وجهوده العلمية عند الشافعية، وإظهار منزلة كتابه بحر المذهب من المذهب الشافعي، وبيان اختيارات الإمام الروياني الفقهية في مسائل المياه والوضوء. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الاستقرائي الوصفي. وقد الدراسة توصلت إلى نتائج أبرزها: أن اختيارات الإمام الروياني الفقهية تعد كسبا مفيدا ودعما للثروة الفقهية، وهذه تدخل السرور على كثير من العلماء فضلا عن طلاب العلم، والإمام الروياني غالبا في اختياراته الفقهية يقف عند النصوص والآثار لا يحيد عنها ولا يعمد إلى الرأي إلا عند الضرورة، بحسب ما تقتضيه المصلحة. كما قدمت الدراسة بعض التوصيات لطلبة العلم ومن أهمها: مواصلة الدراسة فيما تبقى من اختيارات الإمام الروياني والحث على كتابة المواضيع الجديرة التي لم يكتب فيها أحد كاختيارات الإمام الأوزاعي والقواعد والضوابط للإمام الروياني وغيرها.

|b This study aims to introduce Imam Al-Rūyānī, clarify the position of Imam Al- Rūyānī and his scientific efforts according to the Shafi’is, illustrate the status of his book Bahr Al-Mazhab from the Shafi’i school "Mazhab", and clarify Imam Al- Rūyānī’s jurisprudential choices in matters of water and ablution "Wudūi". The researcher used the descriptive inductive approach. The most prominent results of the study are that the jurisprudential choices of Imam Al- Rūyānī are a useful gain and support for the jurisprudential wealth, and they bring pleasure to many scholars as well as students. In addition, Imam Al- Rūyānī, in his jurisprudential choices, often stops at the texts and antiquities, where he does not deviate from them and does not resort to the opinion except when necessary, according to what the interest requires. The study has provided some recommendations for students, the most important of which are: the necessity of continuing the study of the remaining choices of Imam Al- Rūyānī and urging the writing of worthy topics that no one has written about, such as the choices of Imam Al-Awza’i and the rules and regulations of Imam Al- Rūyānī and others.
