يتناول هذا البحث المصطلحات النحوية التراثية في ضوء علم المصطلح الحديث، ويركز على كتاب (الأصول في النحو) للغوي ابن السراج باعتباره أنموذجاً، وذلك عبر دراسة استقرائية (تحليلية) للمصطلحات النحوية الواردة في ذلك الكتاب، ومناقشتها في ضوء أبرز نظريات ورؤى علم المصطلح اللغوي الحديث، للوقوف على مدى اتفاق منهجية قدماء النحاة مع ما جاء به رواد علم المصطلح والباحثون فيه في العقود القليلة الماضية. وتبين من خلال البحث أن كتابة المصطلحات النحوية في كتاب (الأصول) تميزت بصورة عامة بالسهولة والبساطة، وهو أمر محمود عند منظري علم المصطلح الحديث، كما أنها تعكس النهج الذي اتبعه ابن السراج في كتابه، إذ انتهج بساطة العبارة، وتسهيل المفاهيم على نحو يناسب الشريحة المستهدفة من الراغبين في تعلم أصول النحو دون صعوبة أو تعقيد. كما تبين أن ابن السراج لم يكن حريصاً على إضافة مصطلحات خاصة صاغها بنفسه، بل جاءت مصطلحاته امتداداً لما جاء به سابقوه لاسيما سيبويه في (الكتاب)، والمبرد في (المقتضب)، وقد اتسمت منهجيته في التعامل مع المصطلح النحوي بالاضطراب، غير أنه اضطراب متفهم لا يعاب في موازين عصر ابن السراج.
This research deals with the heritage grammatical terminology in the light of the science of the modern term, and focuses on the book (Origins is Grammar) by the linguist Ibn Al-Sarraj as a model, through an inductive (analytical) study of the grammatical terms contained in that book, and its discussion in light of the most prominent theories and visions Modern linguistic terminology, to find out the agreement of the ancient grammarians' methodology with what the pioneers and researchers of the terminology came up with in the past few decades. It was found through the research that writing the grammatical terms in the book (Al- Usul) was characterized in general by ease and simplicity, which is praiseworthy to modern term theorists, and it also reflects the approach that Ibn Al-Sarraj followed in his book, as he adopted the simplicity of the phrase, and facilitating concepts in a way that suits the target group of those wishing to learn the principles of grammar without difficulty or complication. It also became clear that Ibn Al-Sarraj was not keen on adding special terms that he formulated himself, but rather his terminology came as an extension of what his predecessors had, especially Sebwayh in (The Book), and the file in (Al- Muqtaseb), and his methodology in dealing with the grammatical term was characterized by turmoil. It is an understandable disorder that does not blame the scales of the era of Ibn Al-Sarraj.
