المستخلص: Volleyball is one of the most important sports that the masses and the media attach great importance to, as it has entered a very complex and modernized stage in the techniques and methods of playing in the world. In addition to that, it coincides with the development that includes multiple aspects, including physical development, in order to achieve the highest form of volleyball, which aims to reach the youth with the highest levels of skillful performance and beautiful artistic gift with the least effort. This is what volleyball specialists strive for through scientifically followed training programs.
To reach to be an elite athlete, it depends on the selection of athletes morphologically from smaller groups. The objective of assessment and evaluation of the athletes is not only to determine the youth’s suitability for a particular game, but also to the possibility of acquiring his future capabilities for that game. Therefore, it can be predicted that he can have the tactics of the game to achieve the desired results in childhood and optimal work and is an elite player.
Assessment and evaluation in selection is a long process that cannot be placed in a specific time frame because the growth capabilities of young people change under the influence of training work, as well as growth and living factors. Therefore, the process of preparing elite athletes to participate in sports competitions is a very important process that focuses on several factors, the most important of which is the assessment and evaluation factor of the players morphologically to the appropriate sports. There is no fixed criteria based on scientific foundations for selecting athletes, they rely on observation and bringing children to participate in sports competitions.
Our study included two aspects; First is the theoretical part which is consisting of two chapters. The first chapter dealt with the study and importance of morphological characteristics and some anthropometric measurements. In this chapter we talked about late childhood by giving a broad view about the child in childhood and the characteristics and features that characterize this stage from all morphological, psychological, social, and mental aspects.
As for the second chapter, we discussed the definition of volleyball with a brief history and its development in the world and Algeria, the basic principles as well as the characteristics that characterize the football player and the ways of playing in this game. In it, we dealt with the study of the selection process, in which we have discussed the objectives, types and importance of selection as well as the principles and scientific foundations of the assessment and evaluation process, as well as its stages, and some standards and duties associated with the assessment and evaluation process.
As for the practical side, it consists of two chapters. The first chapter mentions the methodological process of research and the second chapter presents and analyzes the results and discusses the results of the study.
At the end of the research, we put forward our vision in the results of the research by studying the research hypotheses and discussing them objectively and scientifically, and finally bringing out some appropriate suggestions.

كرة الطائرة إحدى أهم الألعاب الرياضية التي توليها الجماهير والوسائل الإعلامية أهمية بالغة، بحيث دخلت في العالم مرحلة غاية التعقيد والتحديث في فنيات وطرائق اللعب، وإلى جانبها يتزامن التطور الذي يشمل نواحي متعددة ومنها التطور البدني، من أجل تحقيق أسمى شكل الكرة الطائرة الذي يهدف إلى بلوغ الناشئ أعلى درجات الأداء المهارى المتقن والعطاء الفني الجميل بأقل جهد، وهذا ما يسعى إليه المختصون في كرة الطائرة من خلال البرامج التدريبية والمنتهجة علميا.
وللوصول إلى رياضي النخبة يعتمد عن طريق انتقاء الرياضيين مرفولوجيا من الفئات الصغرى وهدف التقييم والتقويم الرياضيين لا يقتصر فقط على تحديد صلاحية الناشئ للعبة معينة وإنما يتعداه إلى احتمال اكتساب إمكانياته المستقبلية لتلك اللعبة ولذلك يمكن التنبؤ بإمكانية امتلاكه التكتيك الخاص باللعبة لتحقيق النتائج المطلوبة في مرحلة الطفولة والعمل الأمثل وهو لاعب النخبة.
والتقييم والتقويم في الانتقاء عملية طويلة لا يمكن وضعها في إطار محدد من الوقت لأن نمو القابليات للناشئين تتغير تحت تأثير العمل التدريبي وكذلك عوامل النمو والمعيشة...، لهذا فإن عملية إعداد رياضي النخبة للمشاركة في المسابقات الرياضية هي عملية بالغة الأهمية تتركز على عدة عوامل من أهمها عامل التقييم والتقويم اللاعبين مرفولوجيا إلى الألعاب الرياضية المناسبة حيث لا توجد معايير ثابتة مبنية على أسس علمية لاختيار الرياضيين فهم يعتمدون على الملاحظة وجلب الأطفال إلى المشاركة في المنافسات الرياضية.
وقد شملت دراستنا جانبين، الجانب النظري يتكون من فصلين، الفصل الأول تطرقنا فيه إلى دراسة وأهمية الخصائص المرفولوجية وبعض القياسات الأنثروبومترية وتحدثنا فيه عن الطفولة المتأخرة وذلك بإعطاء نظرة واسعة حول الطفل في مرحلة الطفولة والخصائص والميزات التي تمتاز بها هاته المرحلة من جميع الجوانب المرفولوجية، النفسية الاجتماعية، العقلية.
أما الفصل الثاني تطرقنا فيه إلى التعريف بكرة الطائرة مع ذكر نبذة تاريخية وتطورها في العالم والجزائر، والمبادئ الأساسية وكذا الصفات التي يتميز بها لاعب كرة القدم وطرق اللعب في هذه اللعبة، وتطرقنا فيه إلى دراسة عملية الانتقاء والتي تناولنا فيها أهداف وأنواع وأهمية الانتقاء وكذا المبادئ والأسس العلمية لعملية التقييم والتقويم وكذلك مراحله وبعض المعايير والواجبات المرتبطة بعملية التقييم والتقويم.
أما الجانب التطبيقي يتكون من فصلين، الفصل الأول تم ذكر الطرق المنهجية للبحث أما الفصل الثاني عرض وتحليل النتائج ومناقشة نتائج الدراسة.
وفي خاتمة البحث طرحنا رؤيتنا في نتائج البحث من خلال دراسة فرضيات البحث ومناقشتها بموضوعية وأمانة علمية، مستخلصين في الأخير اقتراحات مناسبة.
