|a يواجه التعليم اليوم تحديات كبيرة بسبب التغيرات السريعة والمتلاحقة التي تعرفها المجتمعات اليوم، لعل أبرزها التدفق السريع للمعارف والمعلومات، وتجددها وسرعة تقادمها، وعليه فإن جامعاتنا اليوم لم تعد تواجه أعدادا متزايدة من الطلاب المقبلين لاكتساب العلم، بل إنها تواجه انفجارا علميا ضخما في المعارف العلمية. لذا يهدف هذا المقال إلى الوقوف على التحديات التي تواجه الأستاذ الجامعي في ظل مجتمع المعرفة الذي يتميز بتفجر المعرفة والتكنولوجيا وتعقد الحياة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية والسياسية، وهو ما فرض جملة من التغيرات الجديدة التي ينبغي على الأستاذ الجامعي أن يواكبها، فوظيفة الأستاذ الجامعي لم تعد تقتصر على نقل المعرفة، وإنما إعداد الطالب للقيام بعملية التعليم طوال حياته.

|b Education today faces great challenges due to the rapid and successive changes that societies know today, perhaps the most prominent of which is the rapid flow of knowledge and information, its renewal and the speed of its aging, and therefore, our universities today no longer face increasing numbers of students coming to acquire knowledge, but rather they are facing a huge scientific explosion in scientific knowledge . Therefore, this article aims to identify the challenges facing the university professor in light of the knowledge society characterized by the explosion of knowledge and technology and the complexity of social, economic, cultural and political life, which imposed a set of new changes that the university professor should keep pace with. The job of a university professor is no longer limited to Knowledge transfer, but rather preparing the student to carry out the education process throughout his life.
