The aim of this research is to recognize the effect of emotional intelligent or the juvenile's delinquency in Jordan, and if there are any significant statists differences between delinquents and non-delinquents in the level of emotional intelligence including five aspects of intelligence: Self-recognition, self- motivation, emotion-recognition, relations recognition and emotions training The research also aims at recognizing the statistic level of juveniles delinquent according to differences in sex (male or female), age, residence (city or the countryside), the state of marital parents (living together or not) and their education. \ The researchers adapted Chapman's approach (as a form of questionnaire) which they translated into Arabic. \ The study sample consists of (90) delinquents and (107) non-delinquent school students. \ The result of these findings is as follows: \ 1-\ The level of the emotional intelligence of non- delinquents is higher than that of the delinquents. \ 2-\ The level of emotional intelligence in the field of self-recognition is higher than the level of those non- delinquents and also the same with other levels of self- motivation, emotions recognition, relation recognition and the same results also in the field of emotions training. \ Concerning other variables such as sex the researchers have noticed that the impulsive intelligence for girls is higher than that of boys. And as for the age of the delinquents below 15 years old is higher than the emotional intelligence for those above 15 years old. Besides, the results of residence show that the emotional intelligence of the delinquent who are living in the countryside arc higher than those of the delinquents who are living in the town are higher than those of the delinquents who are living in the town. Moreover, the results of the marital status show that delinquents who are living in broken homes are lower in their emotional intelligence than the delinquent who are living in natural homes \ Recommendations of the study: \ 1-\ To make students of different levels aware of the emotional intelligence. \ 2-\ To controlling their emotions and to take more care of juvenile delinquents who are living in accommodation institution. \ 3-\ To train those delinquents of emotional intelligence how to gain values. \ 4-\ To be more interested in the textbooks concerning such intelligences and how to distinguish between them.
