At the current time, the number of people who undergo cosmetic surgery has been increasing. Furthermore, a number of studies are determine looking to the major reasons which drive the people to cosmetic surgery. The main goal of my project to investigate perceptions about cosmetic surgery among different nationalities in Dublin. The methodology in this project was a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Also, I used snowball sampling of 40 participants; the participants were both male and female from public places such as CES language school and I also asked the students in Griffith College. I created questionnaires and the data was collected by using papers, Google Forms and sending the link by emails. Discussion of my findings leads us to consider that the improvement of self-esteem and self-satisfaction were the major reasons which make people undergo cosmetic surgery. Moreover, the media played a huge role and has an influence on the decision, knowledge of people and their attitude. According this study, it is expected that the demand for cosmetic surgery will continue to increase and it would be acceptable in different nationalities and for both genders. In general, many people from different nationalities have similar perceptions about cosmetic surgery.
