المستخلص: "Noureddine Mahmoud (541-569/1146-1173), made a great scientific efforts to resist the Shiite presence in the Syria and all over the Middle east. As a result of his scientific formation we find, that he was able to help the grandfather in the jihad of Shiites at various levels and ways, especially in the scientific side. He sought to remove all the claws of the Fatimid state from the land of Islam. He was keen to build schools and mosques and attach them to a library in Damascus, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Mosul and other different schools of thought, moreover he was closed the scholar sand give the highest position in houses and the greatest and intended from various parts, and this was in support of the intellectual movement in his state and strong sword against the Shiite presence in the Islamic East in 6th century Hijri, corresponding to the eleventh century AD. The scientific role of Noureddine Mahmoud in the resistance of the Shiites, did not focused only in the scientific aspect but he encouraged the leaders and women to confront the internal thought by allowing them to establish educational institutions to do so had a role in that area, in the same ways he support and encouraged the Sufism Sunni and faced with the mysticism Shiite who tried to penetrate Students and older in the corners and ligaments, especially in the sham, in general we can consider that he was succeeded to a large extent and returned the Syria province to its original suni thought."
