المستخلص: يطرح المقال إشكالية التعذيب أثناء حرب التحرير الوطني والتفسير السوسيولوجي والاجتماعي اعتبارا أنه ظاهرة مؤسساتية خفية تم من جهة تشجيعها من قبل الساسة والحكام المستعمرين، ومن الجهة المعاكسة عدم الاعتراف بها رسميا، وغض النظر عن الآلاف من المشردين في أرضهم والمفقودين والمشوهين. والسؤال المطروح هل يمكن فعلا إخفاء ظاهرة التعذيب؟ التاريخ يذكر أنه من المستحيل حتى إن طال الزمن بالنسبة لبعض الحالات؛ فمن الخصوصيات السوسيولوجية لهذا المجتمع الفرنسي الغالب والجزائري المغلوب على أمره التناقض الذي أفرزه النظام الاستعماري العامل على تأسيس هذه المعاملة على شكل تنظيمي وسلوكي والتنكر بوجودها، إنشاء تنظيم عسكري تسند له مهام أمنية، تعميم الصيرورة على شتى أرجاء البلاد، التعامل بها مع الجنسين من الجزائريين الأصلين والأقدام السوداء.
إلا أن هذه الظاهرة تحاور أكثر من مجال منهجي وعلمي؛ فمن الإطار الاجتماعي للذاكرة حسب موريس ألباخ إلى السوسيولغوية المجال مفتوح

The article presents the problem of torture during the war of national liberation and sociological and social interpretation, as it is a hidden institutional phenomenon encouraged by colonized politicians and rulers. On the contrary, it is not officially recognized, and the thousands of people displaced in their land, missing and maimed, were disregarded. The question is, is it really possible to hide the phenomenon of torture?
History states that it is impossible even if it is too long for some cases. One of the sociological peculiarities of this dominant French society and the dominated Algerian society is the contradiction created by the colonial regime working to establish such treatment in an organizational and behavioral form and deny its existence, establishing a military organization with security tasks, spreading the process throughout the country, dealing with both genders of indigenous Algerians and black feet.
However, this phenomenon discusses more than one systematic and scientific field; from the social framework of memory, according to Maurice Alpbach, to socio-linguistic, the field is open.
