المستخلص: تمت التجرية بمنطقة أم دوم - جنوب الخرطوم لتعديل الرشاشة الظهرية الميكانيكية لتدار بالموتور الكهريائي وتم أجراء الاختبار الحقلي لتعديل من محرك احترق داخلي لموتور كهريائي مع التعديلات الأخرى التي تتوافق مع الموتور. الاختبار الحقلي تم من داخل بيوت محمية والنتائج أوضحت إمكانية الحصول على نفس معدل التدفق قبل التعديل (3.79ml/sec)وتكاليف التشغيل للنظامين كانت ,0.260) (0.750 جنيه سوداني على التوالي وتكاليف تصميم الموتور كانت ١١٠ جنيه سوداني بينما نظام المحرك ٢٥٠٠ جنيه سوداني.

An experiment was conducted at Um Dom south east of Khartoum- Sudan, to modify the motorized knapsack sprayer to be operated by blower, and to achieve the field performance test. The new design was done by replaced the internal combustion engine with electric motor and fan and the other modifications were done to the way of compressing the liquid to the nozzle from the tank by replacing separate fan for this purpose and field evaluation test to the equipment was done through many factors by applied the actual spraying action to the plants cultivated inside the greenhouses. The results shows that the flow rate per time achieved by the assembling equipment is the same as the equipment before modification which is (3.79ml/sec), the operation cost for the two designs was found (0.260, 0.750) SDG, respectively, and the total developing cost of the new equipment is 110SDG (0.20$) which is too cheaper when compare with the motorized knapsack sprayer before modification 2500SDG (500$).
