تتعدد هي العوامل التي قد تنجم عنها الاضطرابات السلوكية للفرد، وقد يكون عدم الانتظام في إفراز هرمونات جسمية معينة زيادة أو نقصانا، ومظاهر أخرى من عدم التوازن الكيميائي عاملا وجيها لظهور السلوك الشاذ. من هنا جاء هذا المقال محاولا الربط بين اضطرابات جهاز الغدد الصماء، واعتلال الصحة النفسية للفرد، معتمدين في ذلك على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقد خلصت النتائج إننا نفسر حياة الإنسان بما يتخللها من جوانب جسمية، وعقلية وعاطفية وانفعالية بناء على توازن أو عدم توازن إفرازات جهاز الغدد الصماء.
