المستخلص: Les sanctions économiques sont des sanctions non militaires dans lequel des pénalités de nature économique sont utilisées, mais la réalité prouve que ces sanctions sont commises avec un but punitif et ont des effets désastreux sur les droits individuels et collectifs de l'homme à tous égards, en particulier les droits qui garantissent le droit à la vie et de vivre dans la dignité, ils se brisent les ressources matérielles de l'état et perturbent le développement, ils deviennent des crimes internationaux punissables pour violation du droit international.

Economic sanctions are non-military sanctions wherein penalties of an economic nature are used, but the reality proved that these sanctions are committed with a punitive aim, and have disastrous effects on the individual and collective human rights in all respects, especially those rights which guarantee the right to life and to live in dignity, they crash the material resources of the state and disrupt development, they graduate to become international punishable crimes for violation of international law.

العقوبات الاقتصادية هي عقوبات دولية غير عسكرية تستخدم فيها جزاءات ذات طابع اقتصادي، غير أن الواقع اثبت أن هذه العقوبات ترتكب بهدف عقابي، وأن لها آثار وخيمة على حقوق الإنسان الفردية منها والجماعية من جميع النواحي وبخاصة تلك الحقوق التي تضمن حق الإنسان في الحياة والعيش بكرامة، فهي تحطم الإمكانيات المادية للدولة وتعطل التنمية، وترتقي لتصبح جرائم دولية معاقب عليها مخالفة للقانون الدولي.
