المستخلص: This study is based on a vital component of society, which is the youth, and aims to reveal the extent to which private satellite channels in Algeria reflect the reality of Algerian youth, whether it is the social, political, economic and cultural reality. The subject of the study is important as it is a new topic that has arisen in light of the developments in the field of electronic media in Algeria. We used the questionnaire on an intentional sample of (100) individuals from the Algerian university youth from the University of Tizi Ouzou. Also, this study relied on the descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the private Algerian satellite channels succeeded in attracting the attention of the Algerian youth, and made a relative change in the media treatment compared to the public television, as it often addresses the problems that concern the Algerian youth. Cette étude se base sur un élément important de la société, qui est la jeunesse. Elle vise à démontrer à quel degrés est reflétée, la réalité vécue des jeunes algériens, que ce soit sur le plan social, politique, économique et culturel ; par les chaines satellitaires algériennes de droit privé. L’importance que revêt la thématique de la présente étude réside dans la nouveauté du sujet abordé, né des récentes évolutions qu’a connues la scène médiatique dans le secteur de l’Audio-visuel en Algérie. Nous avons utilisé l’outil du questionnaire sur un échantillon intentionnel de)100(«sujets», composé de jeunes universitaires de l’université de Tizi-Ouzou. Notre étude s’est aussi basée sur la méthode descriptive. Les résultats de notre étude ont démontré que les chaines satellitaires privées algériennes ont réussi à susciter l’intérêt des jeunes algériens. Elles ont entrainé un changement «relatif » dans le traitement médiatique de l’information par rapport à la télévision publique dans la mesure, où ces chaines traitent généralement des problèmes dont souffrent les jeunes algériens. La plupart des répondants s’accordent à dire que ces nouvelles chaines TV tendent à refléter la réalité vécue des jeunes algériens.

ترتكز هذه الدراسة على عنصر حيوي في المجتمع وهو الشباب، وتهدف إلى الكشف عن مدى عكس القنوات الفضائية الجزائرية الخاصة لواقع الشباب الجزائري، سواء أكان الواقع الاجتماعي، السياسي، الاقتصادي والثقافي. يكتسي موضوع الدراسة أهمية باعتباره موضوعا جديدا نشأ في ظل التطورات التي شهدتها الساحة الإعلامية في مجال السمعي البصري في الجزائر. وقد استخدمنا استمارة الاستبيان على عينة قصدية قوامها (100) مفردة من الشباب الجامعي الجزائري من جامعة تيزي وزو، واعتمدت كذلك هذه الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن القنوات الفضائية الجزائرية الخاصة نجحت في جذب اهتمام الشباب الجزائري، وأحدثت تغييرا نسبيا في المعالجة الإعلامية مقارنة بالتلفزيون العمومي، حيث تتطرق غالبا للمشاكل التي يعني منها الشباب الجزائري، وقد أتفق معظم المبحوثين على أن هذه القنوات الجديدة تسعى لعكس واقع الشباب الجزائري.
