المستخلص: In light of the inescapable spread of the Corona virus, Algerian television has faced great challenges in dealing with the pandemic in order to preserve its image as an official media body on the one hand and try to satisfy its audience and meet the expectations of their inclination on the other hand. This study seeks to highlight the views and thoughts of a sample of students of media and communication sciences at the University of Medea towards the media coverage in the time of Corona pandemic on Algerian television through its contents, forms, methods and media discourses. The results showed that Algerian television - according to the opinions of the sample of the student audience - tried to adhere as much as possible to the professional rules and regulations by balancing the presentation of the news of Corona without exaggeration or underestimation, while maintaining the officialness of the sources. However, this did not prevent the appearance of some slips and deviations in media practice due to confusion from the horror of the pandemic, which represented an actual health crisis, as the matter of addressing it in the media requires expertise, skill and specialization in the field of health media. في ظل الانتشار الواسع لفيروس كورونا عرف التلفزيون الجزائري تحديات كبيرة في التعاطي مع الجائحة من أجل الحفاظ على صورته كهيئة إعلامية رسمية من جهة ومحاولة إرضاء جمهوره وإشباع رغباته من جهة أخرى، وتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز آراء واتجاهات عينة من طلبة علوم الإعلام والاتصال بجامعة المدية نحو التغطية الإعلامية لجائحة كورونا في التلفزيون الجزائري من خلال ما قدمه من مضامين وأشكال وأساليب وخطابات إعلامية. تبين من النتائج أن التلفزيون الجزائري - حسب آراء العينة من جمهور الطلبة - حاول الالتزام قدر المستطاع بالقواعد المهنية وضوابطها من خلال الموازنة في عرض أخبار كورونا دون تهويل أو تهوين مع الحفاظ على رسمية المصادر، لكن هذا لم يمنع من ظهور بعض الانزلاقات والانحرافات في الممارسة الإعلامية بسبب الارتباك من هول الجائحة التي مثلت أزمة صحية فعلية، حيث إن أمر معالجتها إعلامياً يتطلب الخبرة والمهارة والتخصص في مجال الإعلام الصحي.

Avec la flambée d'épidémie covid 19, la télévision algérienne a connu de grands défis pour faire face à la pandémie afin de préserver son image autant d'entreprise médiatique officielle d'une part et de tenter de satisfaire son public et ses désirs d'autre part. Cette étude vise à mettre en évidence les points de vue et les tendances d'un échantillon d'étudiants en Sciences de l’information et de la Communication de l'université de Médéa envers la couverture médiatique de la pandémie Coronavirus à la télévision algérienne à travers les contenus, les formes, les méthodes et les discours médiatiques. D'après les résultats - selon le point de vue de son public d’étudiants - il s'avère que la télévision algérienne a tenté de respecter les règles professionnelles en équilibrant la présentation des actualités de Coronavirus sans intimidation ni sous-estimation tout en préservant l'officialité des sources, mais cela n'a pas empêché l'apparition de certains dérapages à cause de la confusion de la pandémie qui représentait une véritable crise sanitaire. Ce qui demande de l'expérience, des compétences et une spécialisation pour avoir la bonne couverture médiatique.
