المستخلص: إن الهوية الثقافية والحضارية لامة، هي القدر الثابت والجوهري والمشترك من السمات والملامح التي ترتبط باللغة والدين والسلوك وأنماط التفكير والعادات والتقاليد والموروث المادي والمعنوي والتاريخي. الذي يميز حضارات أمة عن غيرها من الحضارات والتي تجعل الشخصية الوطنية أو القومية ذات طابعا فريدا تتميز به عن الشخصيات الوطنية القومية الأخرى أن فن البورترية المعاصر حينما جمع بين الملامح الشخصية والرموز والعلامات ذات الدلالات الاجتماعية أو السياسية التراثية تارة والمعاصرة تارة أخرى... جعل لهذا الفن القدرة على تأكيد الهوية الثقافية، كما أن توجه الفنانين للتعبير عن الهوية من خلال تصوير المشاهير الذين يمثلون رمزا تاريخيا سياسيا أو اجتماعيا أو علميا.. وغيرهم ممن يرتبطون بالإرث الثقافي العربي بحدث معين في زمن معين أثر في الوجدان العربي، وذلك من خلال المنطلقات التشكيلية والمفاهيمية المرتبطة بفن البورتريه المعاصر والتي يمكن أن تسهم في تأكيد الهوية الثقافية. وما يسعى إليه البحث هو توضيح مداخل لتوظيف فن البورتريه لتأكيد الهوية الثقافية العربية.

Therefore, research suggests that it is possible to develop a contemporary artistic approach that enriches creative thought in the expression of cultural identity through the art of portraiture The research aims to - Studying and analyzing selections from the art of contemporary portraiture to identify the plastic and mural concepts that can contribute to the confirmation of cultural identity. - The experience of self-study, which emphasizes the possibilities of the art of portraiture in emphasizing cultural identity as an input to the expression in contemporary painting."
