المستخلص: "لم يعرف بشكل واضح المدلول اللفظي لكلمة Τροπαιον (التروبايون) ولم تعرب الكلمة في لفظ واحد بل في ألفاظ عدة وإن كان لها معنى واحد (سوف يسرد من خلال هذه الدراسة لاحقا) اتفق مؤرخو الدراسات اليونانية والرومانية على أن (التروبايون) بوجه عام يقصد به الإشارة للنصر، كما أنه يعكس دلالة فنية لأحد التقاليد العسكرية في العصرين اليوناني والروماني وفي نفس الوقت هو إشارة سياسية لما بعد الانتصار. -فكلمة التروبايون Τροπαιον (في اللغة اليونانية القديمة) تعني مجموعة من الدروع الملتقطة والأسلحة والمعدات الحربية التي تمثل الغنائم بعد النصر، وفي اللغة اللاتينية القديمة Tropaeum وهي عبارة عن هيكل ثابت مزين بمجموعة من الدروع والأسلحة ومقدمات السفن المنحوتة وما شابه ذلك التي تم الاستيلاء عليها من الطرف المهزوم. ونظرا لأن الكثير من الأدلة المتعلقة بالنصب التذكارية اليونانية ذات طبيعة أدبية والأدلة الأثرية المتاحة محل جدل ونقاش من حيث معنى الكلمة وما يتعلق بها من مظهر مادي مجسد في شكل نصب للنصر قائم بذاته أو كومة من الأسلحة. لذا الهدف من (هذه الدراسة محاولة للتعرف على هذا العنصر الفني) من حيث الآراء اللغوية وتحديد أصولها ومدى انعكاسها فنيا في الفن اليوناني والروماني، لذا فقد قسمت الدراسة إلى عدة نقاط: أولا-أصل ومعنى كلمة Tropaion (التروبايون) ثانيا-بداية ظهور التروبايون ثالثا-عرض ودراسة بعض النماذج الفنية لنمط التروبايون في الفن اليوناني والروماني. وقد تميزت النماذج الفنية المصورة لشكل التروبايون في العصرين اليوناني والروماني بتشابه طرزها الفنية مع بعض الاختلاف الطفيف بينهم، إلا أن هذا الاختلاف ساعد الدراسة في إمكانية وضع تصنيف لأشكال التروبويان الفنية التي تخدم الهدف من تجسيده كنصب للنصر التذكاري وكيفية الإعلان عن هذا النصر."

Given that much of the evidence related to the Greek memorials is of a literary nature and archaeological evidence is debated and debated in terms of the meaning of the word and related physical appearance embodied in the form of a victory Freestanding and Aplie of Arms. -In an attempt through this study, an introduction to this artistic element of linguistic opinions is identified and its origins determined and how this is technically reflected in its depiction. In Greek and Roman art, the study is divided into several points: First- the origin and meaning of the word Tropaion. Second- the beginning of the emergence of Tropaion. Third – the presentation and study of some artistic examples of the style of tropaion in Greek and Roman art. - Also the artistic models to the shape of the tropaion in the Greek and Roman eras, similar to its artistic style and the clarity of the difference also between them, though in a slight way, but this difference helped the study in the possibility of developing a classification for the technical forms of tropaion that serve the purpose of his embodiment as a monument to victory and how to announce this victory."
