المستخلص: يركز البحث على تطبيق التقنيات الحديثة في اقترح أفضل موقع تجاري في مدينة العلم، على ضوء المعايير التخطيطية اللازمة لذلك وهي (القرب والبعد من الشوارع الرئيسية وهندستها، عدد السكان، المساحات الشاغرة القريبة من الشوارع الرئيسية، الاستعمال التجاري الحالي، الازدحام المروري)، بعد ذلك تمت معالجة هذه المعايير عن طريق المسافة الاقليدية Euclidean Distance وإعادة تصنيف القيم بحسب أهميتها من حيث القريبة والبعد منها، ومن ثم تحديد درجة أهميتها النسبية بحسب تأثيرهـا على إقامة موقع تجاري مقترح. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن منطقة تقاطع عبد الله الجبارة هي انسب موقع لإقامة موقع تجاري مع الشارع الأسفل المؤدي إلى مركز شرطة العلم وبمساحة قدرت (25.6) هكتار كونه حقق جميع المعايير التخطيطية اللازبة لإنشاء موقع تجاري، ولقد حقق النموذج المصمم وفق برمجيات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية وضمن أدوات التحليل المكاني نسبة قدرها (90%)، وذلك اعتماداً على الدراسة الميدانية وتحديدا ضمن استمارة الاستبيان.

The research focuses on the application of modern technologies in proposing the best commercial location in the city of science, in light of the planning criteria necessary for this, which are (proximity and distance from the main streets and their engineering, population numbers, vacant spaces near main streets, current commercial use, traffic congestion), then These criteria were dealt with by means of the Euclidean Distance and reclassifying the values according to their importance in terms of proximity and distance from them, and then determining the degree of their relative importance according to their impact on the establishment of a proposed commercial site. The study found that the Abdullah al-Jabara intersection area is the most appropriate site for establishing a commercial site with the lower street leading to the al-Alam police station, with an area estimated at (25.6) hectares, as it fulfilled all the planning criteria necessary for the establishment of a commercial site, and the model designed according to the GIS software and within the analysis tools Spatial ratio of (90)%, depending on the field study, specifically within the questionnaire form.
