|a شهدت حياة الرئيس الأمريكي دافيد آيزنهاور الذي تولى رئاسة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الكثير من الدراسات التي سلطت الضوء على حياته الرئاسية وصدرت في هذا المجال عشرات الكتب والبحوث والمقالات، ولكن كانت حياته الاجتماعية قبل رئاسة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية شبه غائبة عن اغلب تلك الدراسات لاسيما العربية منها الأمر الذي جعل كثير من جوانب شخصية هذا الرئيس مبهمة ومن هذا المنطلق يسعى هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن تلك الجوانب المبهمة من خلال تناول حياة الرئيس آيزنهاور منذ الولادة والوقوف على ابرز المحطات الاجتماعية في حياته بعيد عن حياته السياسية والعسكرية.
