المستخلص: عاش حي الشيخ جراح بالقدس في الأيام القليلة الماضية أزمة أثرت على فلسطين والوطن العربي والعالم، حيث كانت انتفاضة شديدة ضد اعتداءات جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ومحاولة لتهجير القسري لسكان حي الشيخ حراج الذي نتج عنها انتفاضة في غزة وفلسطين بل وامتدت خارج الحدود الفلسطينية، ومن هنا تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى اهتمام الصحف محل الدراسة بقضية حي الشيخ جراح. والتعرف على كيفية عرض قضية حي الشيخ جراح وأساليب التغطية المستخدمة. ومدى تأثير القوى الفاعلة في حل قضية حي الشيخ جراح بالقدس. واستخدمت الدراسة منهج المسح الإعلامي والمنهج المقارن واعتمدت على أسلوب تحليل المضمون وأهم نتائج الدراسة: حصلت جريدة صحيفة فلسطين على أعلى نسبة نشر، وبذلك تكون تفوقت على صحيفة سي إن إن بالعربي في إعطائها مساحة كبيرة لتغطية قضية حي الشيخ جراح بالقدس، ثم جاءت جريدة الأهرام في المرتبة الأخيرة، ويرجع ذلك للعديد من الأسباب أهمها: اتباع الحيادية والخوف من تعبئة الرأي العام وتحدث انتفاضة مثل ما حدث في الأردن وتحرك الشعب نحو الحدود وحدوث اضطرابات بين الشعب الأردني وقوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي نتج عنها اعتقالات لبعض من المتظاهرين الأردنيين، كما أن مصر كانت تتزعم الدول العربية في المفاوضات التي توصلت إلى إنهاء الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية ووقف إطلاق النار وذلك استجابة للمبادرة المصرية.

The study used the media survey curriculum ; The comparative approach was based on the method of analyzing the content and the most important results of the study: Palestine newspaper received the highest publishing rate, And so she outperformed CNN in Arabic in giving her a lot of space to cover the case of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem , Then al-Ahram came in last place, This is due to many reasons, the most important of which are: : Following neutrality and fear of mobilizing public opinion and an uprising like what happened in Jordan and the movement of the people towards the borders and unrest between the Jordanian people and the Israeli occupation forces resulted in arrests of some Jordanian demonstrators, Egypt was also the leader of the Arab countries in the negotiations that reached an end to the Israeli aggression and a cease-fire This is in response to the Egyptian initiative.
