المستخلص: تتشكل الأزياء بفعل الخلق البنائي لمفردات تصاميم الوحدة الفنية للأزياء وفق معادلات هندسية وعلمية وجمالية ودرامية تتضمن البعد الدلالي المعرفي والثقافي والفكري فضلا عن الدلالات الظاهرية (الشكلية) والداخلية (المضامين) المتعدد والمتشعبة والمتنوعة تبعا للتنوع والتشعب والتعدد بالتفسير والتأويل والتحليل للمظاهر الدلالية للأزياء المسرحية وهي مجسدة فوق خشبة المسرح ضمن اللعبة الدرامية ومن خلال أجساد الممثلين الذي يؤدون أدوارهم التمثيلة ضمن مساحة التحرك والتشكيل والتفاعل الحدثي والقصصي للبناء الدرامي للمشهد المسرحي، ومن اجل توضيح المستويات الدلالية وتحولاتها للأزياء المسرحية وضعت هذه الدراسة سؤالها لمشكلة البحث وهو (كيفية تحول الأزياء دلاليا انطلاقا من توافق الزي مع مكونات الشخصية (الداخلية، والخارجية) اعتمادا على الأبعاد الفكرية للعرض المسرحي؟ أما هدف الدراسة (الكشف عن تحولات الزي دراميا ودلاليا في العرض المسرحي) ومن اجل تحقيق الإجابة على سؤال المشكلة والهدف تم تقسيم المباحث النظرية إلى (المبحث الأول: تحولات الزي دراميا ودلاليا وفق البعد التاريخي، المبحث الثاني: البناء التصميمي للأزياء وفق الدلالات المتحولة، المبحث الثالث: التحولات البنائية الدرامية للأزياء المسرحية) وتم تحليل العرض المسرحي العراقي (مكاشفات) كعينة قصدية ومن أهم نتائج التحليل (يتناسق الفعل الدلالي ضمن الخطاب البصري مع خط الفعل الدرامي للشخصي ضمن الحدث المسرحي ووفقا لمنطلقات العرض المسرحي وأهدافه الفكرية والجمالية)، واهم الاستنتاجات (تندرج عملية تحول الزي الدلالي ضمن عمليات الابتكار والتجدد والاكتشاف) وختم البحث بقائمة المصادر العلمية.
