المستخلص: "تناول هذا البحث. بعون الله تعالى. بعد التعريف بمصطلحاته، الفرق بين فتور الوحي في أوج بعثته صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقبيل وفاته، حيث كان يقوى ويتتابع، لحاجة الناس إلى الإجابة عن أسئلتهم واستفساراتهم. كما تناول البحث أيضا التهيؤ لتلقي الوحي، فكانت الخلوة في غار حراء للتفكر والتأمل، وخلو القلب من كل مشاغل الدنيا وملوثات الجاهلية، من الأصنام وعبدتها وسدنتها، والتقرب للواحد الديان، حتى من الله عليه بالوحي، فتلقاه فقط عن طريق جبريل عليه السلام، فالقرآن الكريم ليس وحيا مناميا، أو من وراء حجاب. ثم تناول البحث نماذج من فتور الوحي ودلالتها الدعوية، وذلك في فتور الوحي بين ""اقرأ"" و ""المدثر""، وكذا عند نزول سورة ""الضحى""، وكذا في نموذجين عظيمين في سورة ""الكهف""، وسورة ""النور""، ولكل من تلك النماذج دلالتها، والعبرة منها. كما تناول البحث الرد على بعض الشبهات حول فتور الوحي، كالزعم بفقدان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للوعي وقت نزول الوحي وبعده، وكذا الزعم بمحاولة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم التردي من أعالي الجبال لفتور الوحي وتأخره، وظهر من خلال الرد أنها شبهة لا سند لها، وأنها مغرضة، تهدف إلى زعزعة العقيدة، والنيل من الوحي القرآني، كما ثبت من الرد كذلك كذب تلك الادعاءات وبطلانها. ثم كانت الخاتمة: وفيها نتائج البحث وتوصيات الباحث."

"After defining its terms; this research examines the difference of the cessation of revelation at the beginning of the prophet's mission and ahead of his death, peace be upon him, during which the revelation was descending gradually to answer people's questions and inquiries. This pa per, as well, shows the readiness of the prophet to receive the divine revelation; when he peace be upon him began spending many hours alone in Mountain Hira to speculate and mediate, trying to isolate himself away from all the worldly concerns and withdraw himself from all the poisonous traits of the pre-Islamic period of idolatry, approaching the One and the Ruler of the Reckoning Day; till Allah blessed him by descending the revelation. Therefor; the Qur'an wasn't revealed visionary or from behind a partition but it was verbally revealed from Allah through the angel Gabriel. This thesis discusses the significance of the cessation of revelation and represents some samples during which the revelation was ceased for a while as in between the revelation of Surah Iqra' and Surah Al-Mudather, as well during the revelation of Surah Al-Doha, Al-Kahf and Al-Noor. Afterwards, the research defies some allegations regarding the period during which the revelation was ceased, such claiming that the prophet, peace be upon him, lost consciousness during and after the time of revelation; as well the saying states that the prophet contemplated suicide as he tried to throw himself from the top of high mountains when the revelation was ceased. As shown; the refutations strongly prove these allegations to be unreliable and malicious, aiming to destabilize the Doctrine of Faith and undermine the Qur'anic revelation. Thereafter, the conclusion reviews the research results and the recommendations of the researcher."
