المستخلص: مرض البهاق مرض جلدي مزمن غير معدي يبدأ بظهور بقع بيضاء صغيرة قد تأخذ بالانتشار سريعا وقد تصل إلي نسب عالية بالجسم أو يكون انتشارها بطيئا أو تبقي كما هي على مر المسنين. هذا المرض لم يختص بجنس معين ولا بفئة عمرية أيضا، وقد جهلت أسباب مرض البهاق ومسبباته وعجز الطب الحديث عن وجود العلاج الفعال له. ويدخل مرض البهاق في علاقة متبادلة مع كثير من المشكلات أو الاضطرابات النفسية والاجتماعية إلى وجود علاقة إيجابية بينهما، فهذه الأمراض ظاهرية ولا يمكن للمريض إخفاؤها لذا يمكن القول إن ثمة علاقة قوية بين المظهر الخارجي للمصاب وحالته النفسية التي تزداد سوءا إن لم يعالج أو يتكيف مع مرضه ويتوافق مع الآخرين المقربين إليه في ظل مرضه الذي يصاحبه طيلة حياته. حيث يمكن أن يتسبب التشوه المصاحب للبهاق في إجهاد عاطفي خطير للمريض ويؤثر على حياته. وتشكل العلاقة الحميمة جزء أساسي في الحياة الزوجية ولا يمكن الاستغناء عنها، حيث يؤثر البهاق عليها من الناحية الشكلية وعدم قبول شريك الحياة الزوجية شكل الإصابة وهذا يتفاوت بين الأشخاص، ويواجه مريض البهاق العديد من الضغوطات والتحديات الصعبة مثل الإهمال وسوء المعاملة وعدم مراعاة احتياجات شريك الحياة وقد يحدث بينهما جفوة عاطفية كبيرة فبالتالي تضعف قدرة المريض على تلبية احتياجات الطرف الآخر، فيحدث الشقاق والجفوة بين المريض وشريكة في العلاقة الزوجية تصل إلي حد الابتعاد عن الشخص المصاب لأكبر وقت ممكن كما يحدث التهديد والوعيد بإنهاء العلاقة والانفصال منذ الإصابة بالمرض، فيتألم الشخص المصاب بسبب عدم تقدير مشاعره وحجم معاناته من الطرف الآخر، فيتهم الشريك المريض أنه صار انطوائيا وسريع الغضب، وينخفض التشاور بين المريض وشريك حياته في الشئون الأسرية. بما أن الخدمة الاجتماعية تهتم بحياة الإنسان من جميع الجوانب الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والنفسية والصحية وتقدم له الكثير من الخدمات سواء علاجية أو وقائية أو تنموية.

Vitiligo is a chronic, non-contagious skin disease that begins with the appearance of small white spots that may spread rapidly and may reach high levels in the body or have slow spread or remain the same over the years. This disease is not specific to a specific gender or age group as well, and the causes and causes of Vitiligo have been ignored and the inability of modern medicine to find effective treatment for it. Vitiligo enters into a reciprocal relationship with many psychological and social problems or disorders to the existence of a positive relationship between them, for these diseases are apparent and the patient cannot hide them, so it can be said that there is a strong relationship between the outward appearance of the patient and his psychological state that gets worse if he is not treated or adapted to his disease. And he corresponds with others close to him in light of his illness that accompanies him throughout his life. Where the deformity associated with vitiligo can cause serious emotional stress to the patient and affect his life. Intimate relationship is an essential part of marital life and cannot be dispensed with, as vitiligo affects it in terms of form, and the partner of marital life does not accept the form of infection and this varies between people, and a patient faces Vitiligo has many stressors and difficult challenges, such as neglect, abuse and failure to take into account the needs of a life partner, and a great emotional gap may occur between them, thus weakening the patient's ability to meet the needs of the other party, so discord and gap between the patient and a partner in the marital relationship occurs to the point of moving away from the affected person for the largest possible time. Threatening and threatening to end the relationship and separation since contracting the disease occurs, so the affected person suffers because of the lack of appreciation of his feelings and the extent of his suffering from the other party. Since the social service is concerned with human life from all social, economic, psychological and health aspects and provides him with many services, whether curative, preventive or developmental.
