|a حاولت الدراسة التعرف على العائد الاجتماعي لإعادة تدوير المخلفات الصلبة والجهات المنوطة بعملية التدوير داخل المجتمع، واتبعت لتحقيق ذلك منهج دراسة الحالة، فقامت بتطبيقه على الشركة المصرية لإعادة تدوير المخلفات الصلبة، كما قامت بتطبيق دليل مقابلة على العاملين بجهاز تنظيم إدارة المخلفات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن عمليات تدوير المخلفات تتم بصورة محدودة داخل المجتمع المصري وأن هناك جهات رسمية وغير رسمية تعمل في مجال التدوير، كما أن هناك عائد اجتماعي لعملية تدوير المخلفات الصلبة على البيئة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والطبيعية، وأن هناك العديد من المعوقات التي تعوق تحقيق اقصى استفادة من عملية التدوير.

|b The study tried to identify the social return of solid waste recycling and the bodies responsible for the recycling process within the community, and followed the case study approach to achieve this, so it applied it to the Egyptian Company for Solid Waste Recycling, and it also applied an interview guide to the employees of the Waste Management Regulatory Authority, and the study concluded that Waste recycling operations are limited within the Egyptian society, and there are official and unofficial bodies working in the field of recycling, and there is a social return to the process of solid waste recycling on the social, economic and natural environment, and there are many obstacles that impede achieving the maximum benefit from the recycling process.
