|a هدفت الدراسة لمعرفة الأساليب العلمية الاستشرافية من خلال دراسة منهجية للأساليب والطرق والأدوات المستخدمة في الدراسات الاستشرافية وتوظيفها في الحقل السوسيولوجي، وإجراء مقاربة منهجية ودراسة للأدوات والتقنيات الخاصة بالدراسات الاستشرافية، بهدف تطوير أساليب البحث الاجتماعي لدراسة الظاهرة الاجتماعية استشرافيا، وذلك من خلال دارسة وتحليل الماضي وفهم الحاضر للتأثير بالمستقبل، حيث أن المستقبل هو الزمن الذي نستطيع أن نتحكم به إذا ما امتلكنا المعرفة العلمية وإذا أردنا التأثير به من خلال وضع بدائل وسيناريوهات تساعد على مواجهة الظروف المتوقعة وتفادي وقوع الأزمات، لذلك قدمت الدراسة نموذج منهجي للدراسات الاجتماعية الاستشرافية، لأهمية الدراسات الاستشرافية في الوقت الحالي وخاصة بعد ثورة المعلومات والتكنولوجيا والاتصالات، العالم الحالي هو عالم المستقبل وإذا أردنا أن نؤثر فيه علينا أن ندرس الحاضر وفق معطيات استشرافية (لنرسم مستقبلنا كما نريد نحن) وهذا لا يتم إلا من خلال دراسة علمية وفق خطوات منهجية
