This paper introduces a new three-parameter lifetime model called the generalized odd log-logistic log-logistic “GOLL-LL” Distribution. Various of its structural properties including ordinary and incomplete moments, quantile and generating functions, probability weighted moments and order statistics are derived. The new model has the advantage of being capable of modeling various shapes of aging and failure criteria. We briefly describe four different frequentist approaches, namely, maximum likelihood estimators, Cramer-von Mises estimators, ordinary least squares estimators and weighted least-squares estimators. A numerical simulation and a real data application are performed to compare the performances of the estimators for both small and large samples. |
