|a تحاول هذه الدراسة تسليط الضوء على قضية هامة من قضايا الخدمة الاجتماعية ألا وهي المهارات المهنية والأدوار الاجتماعية الواجب توفرها في الاختصاصي الاجتماعي. إن قيام الأخصائي الاجتماعي بمسؤولياته ومهامه بشكل علمي يساهم بشكل فعال في نجاحه في مهنة كمختص اجتماعي، وخاصة في مجتمعاتنا الذي مازال دور الاختصاصي الاجتماعي غائبا أو غير مفعل بالشكل المطلوب. عند امتلاك الاختصاصي الاجتماعي حزمة من المهارات المهنية وقادر على القيام بأدواره الاجتماعية، يمكن أن يساعدنا ذلك في تلبية حاجات العملاء وحل مشكلاتهم ضمن مؤسسات الرعاية الاجتماعية، وهذه الدراسة يمكن أن تكون مرجع مناسب لزملائنا الاختصاصين الاجتماعين في اكتسابهم تلك المهارات وقيامهم بكل الأدوار الاجتماعية التي تتطلبها منه مهنتهم، وأن يكونوا على قدر عال من الكفاءة والانجاز والمهنية.
