المستخلص: This work presents a study about bacterial corrosion problem of metal structures at Hassi Mesaoud fields. Bio-corrosion is favored by the presence of sulphate-reducing bacteria developed in Albian waters and which are responsible for many problems encountered in oil installations The work objective is on the one hand the follow-up of bacterial corrosion problem by chemical methods which consist of the detection of the BSR developed in the albian water according to the APIR38 standard on the other hand to the evaluation of bacterial corrosion by Non-Destructive and Coupon Testing to test the effectiveness of the NORUST 720 Corrosion Inhibitor. The detection of BSR at the W1C treatment station and in the MDHA6 well gives us positive results indicating the presence of bacteria with a concentration of 105germ / ml. Ultrasonic corrosion and X-ray monitoring at the line between the MD488 and MD E2C wells gives a minimum thickness of 2.74 mm. The NORUST 720 inhibitor injected at the collection and desalting network is effective. For limited bacteria effect (BSR) this is obtained for the coupon test the final corrosion rate is 0.018 mm / year.
