كانت للمعتقدات الدينية أثرها في أدب وفنون العراق القديم شأنها في ذلك شأن الأمم الأخرى في تلك العهود (1) ولأن الأساطير لا يمكن ملاحظتها بصورة مباشرة ولكن بالإمكان توضيح البناء والمدلول الذي تعنيه (2)، نحاول في هذا البحث: (فاعلية الناموس الإلهي "الصعود من العالم الأسفل" في الأدب العراقي القديم)، التوصل إلى مسألة غاية في الأهمية تتمثل في معرفة المدلول الفكري لكل من النواميس الإلهية والأقدار في الفكر الرافديني القديم، ومنشأ تعددية الآلهة القابضة على النواميس الإلهية والأقدار، وتلك الراغبة بتسنمها، وثانيا محاولة فك عقدة التعارض، أن لم نقل التناقض، ما بين أسطورتين جاء البناء القصصي فيهما بما يجسد حالة تناقض فيما ذهب إليه واضع أو واضعوا كلا الأسطورتين، وحالة تناقض تمس الأسس العقائدية التي تسالم على القول بها الفكر الرافديني القديم، ونعني بهاتين الأسطورتين كلا من أسطورة (إنانا وأنكي انتقال مبادئ المدنية من اريدو إلى أوروك)(3)، (وأسطورة نزول إنانا/عشتار إلى العالم الأسفل)(4)؛ إذ أن البناء والمدلول الذي جاءت به كلا الأسطورتين قد شابه التناقض في فعل، ومدلول "ناموس الصعود من العالم الأسفل" كونه كما سيرد أحد "النواميس الإلهية" التي شكلت واحدة من أهم مرتكزات كلا الأسطورتين، وسيتم تناول البحث في مبحثين أثنين؛ الأول النواميس الإلهية والأقدار، والثاني يتناول فاعلية الناموس الإلهي "الصعود من العالم الأسفل".
