المستخلص: لم تكن الثورة الجزائرية تحارب فرنسا فقط، بل كانت تحارب فرنسا والحلف للأطلسي الذي تتزعمه الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ومن خلال التصريحات المختلفة للسياسيين الأمريكيين التي تناولت المسألة الفرنسية داخل الجزائر، وكذلك الوجه الذي ظهرت به حكومتهم في هيئة الأمم المتحدة عند عرض القضية الجزائرية، يتبين لنا وبكل وضوح دعمها الكامل للاستعمار الفرنسي وسياسته ضد الثورة الجزائرية لاسيما في سنواتها الأولى، ولا يمكننا القول بأن موقفها يؤيد حقوق الشعوب الني تناضل من أجل حريتها. ولو بررنا بذلك مواقف الرجل السياسي الأمريكي "جون كينيدي" تجاه القضية الجزائرية فالتظاهر بمواقف إيجابية تجاه حركات التحرر وحق الشعوب في تقرير مصيرها كان فقط وسيلة استراتيجية متمثلة في تقديم البدائل وذلك بملء الفراغ في مستعمرات حلفائها حفاظا على استمرارية النفوذ الغربي وخدمة المصلحة الخاصة للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، كما فعلته في مناطق مختلفة من العالم. من أهداف هذه الدراسة التاريخية البحث عن مواقف جون كينيدي الأمريكي من أحداث الثورة الجزائرية عندما كان سيناتورا كعضو في مجلس الشيوخ، وعندما أصبح رئيسا للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. ومن النتائج المستقاة عبر تحرير هذه الدراسة تتمثل في: الوصول إلى معرفة حقيقة التناقض الصريح في خطابات "جون كينيدي" المؤيدة تارة للثورة التحريرية والمساندة للشعب الجزائري وإدانة الاستعمار الفرنسي في الجزائر، وتارة ثانية دعمه المتواصل للسياسة الفرنسية وللنظام الاستعماري وتنكر لمواقفه السابقة بعد فوزه في الانتخابات الرئاسية الأمريكية.

The Algerian Revolution wasn't fighting France only, but also the North Atlantic Treaty Organization that was led by the United States of America. Through the different statements of American politicians, concerning the French matter in Algeria, moreover the face in which their government appeared in the United Nations, while presenting the Algerian case. It became clear that it fully supported the French colonialism and its policies against the Algerian revolution, mainly in its early years. Besides, we cannot say that, its position supports the rights of the people who struggle for their freedom. However, whether we justify that with the stand of the American politician John Kennedy towards the Algerian case, where he pretended to have positive positions towards liberation movements and the right of self-determination, it ended up being only a strategic method, represented in providing alternatives to fill voids in the colonies of its allies. Therefore, to preserve the continuity of Western influence and to serve the personal interests of the United States of America, as they did in different parts of the world. As for the objectives of this historical study, is the search for the positions of the American “John Kennedy” on the events of the Algerian revolution, when he was a senator and member of the US Senate as well as when he became president of the United States of America. Among the results obtained through editing this study: Knowing the truth of John Kennedy’s apparent contradiction that sometimes supported the Algerian revolution and condemned the French colonialism, and sometimes where he supported the French politics and the colonial system in addition to denying his previous positions after winning the US presidential election.
