المستخلص: During drilling operations, There are always risks such as flares and to face risks installing a BOP system that ensures personal safety, the well and the equipment. This system is controlled by a hydraulic control unit. (Unit Koomey).The control system of the blowout preventer (BOP) is a high-pressure hydraulic device with directional control valves to control pressure surges and prevent blowouts during drilling operations. The system aims to ensure the opening and closing of each function in an efficient, fast and easy to repeat and if necessary without the need for external energy. It provides the hydraulic fluid under pressure to operate the various valves and surface Annexes valves. The operating pressure of the commonly used system is 3000 psi. For maintenance Koomey the maintenance program is a permanent program should be developed and implemented to ensure proper maintenance of Koomey. The purpose of calculation is to determine the closing of volumes and openings shutters BOP through this calculation determine the following: - required volume of hydraulic fluid - total volume of the battery and number of bottles all for the correct choice of hydraulic control unit.
