المستخلص: This article aims to highlight the importance of environmental auditing in assessing the environmental performance of the economic institution as this aspect is a critical contemporary issue faced by the auditing profession today. This is done by highlighting it as well as clarifying its relationship to environmental performance assessment and its implications for the development and continuity of the institution. We have found the need to rely on environmental auditing in all institutions because of its importance in assessing environmental performance and its contribution to activating the work of environmental management that will achieve gains and benefits for the institution, especially in our current era, which is characterized by increased environmental pressures and the increased interest in them by institutions and their surroundings. يهدف هذا المقال إلى إبراز أهمية المراجعة البيئية في تقييم الأداء البيئي للمؤسسة الاقتصادية باعتبار هذا الجانب من بين أهم القضايا المعاصرة التي تواجه مهنة المراجعة اليوم ويكون ذلك من خلال تسليط الضوء عليها كما يتم توضيح علاقتها بتقييم الأداء البيئي وانعكاسات ذلك على تطور المؤسسة واستمراريتها، وقد توصلنا إلى ضرورة الاعتماد على المراجعة البيئية في جميع المؤسسات لأهميتها في تقييم الأداء البيئي ومساهمتها في تفعيل عمل الإدارة البيئية، لما يحقق مكاسب ومنافع للمؤسسة خاصة في عصرنا الحالي الذي يتميز بزيادة الضغوطات البيئية وتزايد الاهتمام بها من قبل المؤسسات ومحيطها.

Cet article vise à souligner l'importance de l'audit environnementale dans l’évaluation de la performance environnementale de l'institution économique surtout que cet aspect est l'un des enjeux contemporains les plus importants auxquels est confrontée aujourd'hui la profession de l’audit, cela en mettant en évidence ce genre d'audit et d’éclaircir sa relation avec l'évaluation de la performance environnementale et leurs répercussions sur l'évolution de l'institution et sa continuité. Nous nous sommes parvenu alors à la nécessité d'adapter l'audit environnementale dans toutes les institutions vu son à rôle important dans l'évaluation de la performance environnementale et sa contribution à mouvoir le travail de la gestion environnementale dans le but de réaliser les gains et les avantages d'une institution particulièrement à l'époque actuelle, qui se caractérise par une augmentation des pressions environnementales et de l'intérêt croissant porté par les institutions et leur environnementà l'audit environnementale.
