يتناول البحث عن شاهدي قبر وتأريخهما من مدينة مرسيه الأندلسية في عصر المرابطين من الناحية الأثرية الفنية ويتضمن البحث أولًا الأهداف العامة للبحث من حيث الشخصيات التي يتضمنها الشاهد وسمات الخط ومضمون الكتابات لهذه الشاهد ودراسة النصوص الدينية والأدعية والألقاب الموجودة بهذه الشاهد ثم مقدمة بسيطة تشمل الموقع الجغرافي والناحية السياسية والحضارية لمدينة مرسيه ثم تناول البحث وصف الشاهد وكتابة النصوص وحالة وشكل الحروف، والشاهد بشكل مستطيل ثم بعد ذلك تناول المادة الخام وهي من الرخام واستخدامه في صناعة الشواهد الأندلسية بمرسيه ثم بعد ذلك تناول طريقة تنفيذ النقوش بالحفر البارز ثم الزخارف بأنواعها النباتية والهندسية ثم الخط الكوفي والسمات العامة للخط الكوفي بالأندلس ثم دراسة مضمون الشاهد من حيث وجود البسملة والآيات القرآنية وعبارات الشهادة والدعاء وتحديد مكان الدفن والوظائف والألقاب والأسماء وتاريخ الوفاة ثم تناول نتائج البحث وخريطة توضيحية لمدينة طليطلة والأشكال واللوحات التوضيحية للبحث.
The research deals with two tombstones and their history from the Andalusian city of Murcia in the era of the Almoravids from an artistic archaeological point of view.
