المستخلص: This study seeks to identify the challenges of sustainable urban mobility in Algeria while trying to assemble the essential concepts in the subject of sustainable mobility. However, the tools to properly identify all the issues are still lacking. Which prompts us to ask the following question: What are the challenges of urban mobility in the Algerian context? the study followed the inductive approach to answer this question. The study concluded with the identification of a set of issues facing the achievement of sustainable urban mobility, in particular: The evolution of motorization, the increase in the vehicle fleet and the considerable growth of the road. The remarkable efficiency of the automobile system compared to the transportation system. Peripheral space and urban sprawl.

Cette étude cherche à identifier les enjeux de la mobilité urbaine durable en Algérie toute en essaient d’assembler les concepts essentiels dans le sujet de la mobilité durable. Cependant, les outils qui mènent à bien déterminer tous les enjeux manquent encore. Ce qui nous pousse à poser la question suivante: Quelle sont les enjeux de la mobilité urbaine dans le contexte Algérien? l’étude a suivi l’approche inductive pour répondre à cette question. L'étude s'est conclue par l'identification d'un ensemble d’enjeux auxquels est confrontée la réalisation d'une mobilité urbaine durable, notamment: L’évolution de la motorisation, l’accroissement du parc automobile et l’essor considérable de la route. L’efficacité remarquable du système automobile par rapport au système de transport. L’espace périphérique et l’étalement urbain.
