520 |a  إن من طبيعة البشر الوقوع في الخطأ، ولا يكاد يسلم منه أحد، ولما كان الاعتذار بمثابة دية معنوية يدفعها المخطئ لمن أخطأ في حقه، جاءت دراستي لهذا البحث "الاعتذار في ضوء السنة النبوية" دراسة موضوعية، والتي تهدف إلى: الوقوف على الأحاديث والآثار التي ترغب في الاعتذار، والتي تحذر من عدم قبوله، وبيان أثر الاعتذار على الفرد والمجتمع، والآثار المترتبة على تركه، وقد اشتملت هذه الدراسة على عدد من الموضوعات من أهمها: تعريف الاعتذار، وبيان أنواعه، وذكر أساليبه، ودوافعه، وموانعه، وبيان طرقه، وثمراته، وقد سلكت المنهج الاستقرائي التحليلي، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى جملة نتائج من أهمها: أن من هدي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الاعتذار وقبول الأعذار حتى وإن كان ظاهر الحال يدل على عدم ثبوت العذر، وأن للاعتذار ألفاظ وصيغ منها: اللفظ الصريح "أعتذر إليك"، "أتوب"، "لا تؤاخذني وغيرها، كما أن للاعتذار في السنة النبوية دوافع منها: الخوف من العقوبة، والتواضع، والعلم بفضيلة الاعتذار، وله طرق ينبغي مراعاتها عند الاعتذار، منها: انتقاء العبارات المناسبة، واختيار المكان والوقت المناسب، كما أن لخلق الاعتذار ثمرات إيجابية عديدة سواء على الفرد أو المجتمع، منها: أن في الاعتذار تطييبا للقلوب، كما أنه يذهب الهموم ويجلي الأحزان، ومنها أنه من أسباب المودة والمحبة، وفي تركه عواقب عديدة على الفرد والمجتمع، منها التهمة والشك، والكبر، والبغضاء، وتفرق الأمة. 
520 |b It is in the nature of human beings to commit mistakes, it is hardly to find someone safe from doing it. Since apology is a moral response of the person who committed a mistake to the offended person, my study of this research titled “Apology in light of the Sunnah of the Prophet”. An objective study, aimed to: Study the Hadith and the statements and sayings of scholars that encourages people to apologize, which warns of not accepting apology. I also studied the aftermath of rejecting apology on the individual and the society, as well as the implications of refusal to apologize. This study included a number of themes, the most important of which are:- Defining apology, indicating its types, its methods, motives, contraindications, and indicating its methods and results. I used the inductive analytical approach. The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are:- From the Prophet’s guidance is to apologize when you do wrong to others and accept apologies from those who offend you even if the case appears to indicate that the excuse is not proven. That apology has certain words and phrasing, these include: The explicit expression “I apologize to you”, “I repent”. Accept my apology. Apology in Sunnah of the Prophet has motives, including: Fear of punishment, humility, and knowledge of the virtue of apology. Apology has methods that should be taken into account when apologizing, including:- Choosing appropriate words, choosing the right place and time. Apology as a virtue has many positive results, whether on the individual or the Society, some of these are: That apology is good for the hearts, as it removes the worries, and the sorrows and it clears unhappiness. Also it is one of the causes of affection and love. Leaving apology has many negative consequences on the individual and society; these include accusation, suspicion, arrogance, hatred, and the division of the nation.
