المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان آفاق الاتصال الإشاري في الشعر الجاهلي؛ لكونه وسيلة مهمة في الاتصال الإنساني في ذلك العصر بين الأفراد والجماعات، في عصر لم تكن فيه وسائل الاتصال متوافرة كيومنا هذا، وكان هذا النوع من الاتصال يلبى حاجات ضرورية ومهمة قد تعجز عنها لغة الكلام، وقد يكون الطريقة المثلى لتأدية كثير من الرسائل المطلوبة بعده نوعا من أنواع الخطاب الشائع بين البشر، ويبين البحث كيف أفصح الشعراء الجاهليون في شعرهم عن صور هذا الاتصال وأساليبه وأشكاله، كاشفا بذلك جانبا مهما من حياة العرب وأسلوب حياتهم، وتفاهمهم وتواصلهم وتعبيرهم آنذاك، وذلك من خلال قسمين: الأول نظري تناول فيه البحث مفهوم الاتصال الإنساني، من خلال الحديث عن الاتصال لغة واصطلاحا، وتحديد عناصر العملية التواصلية، وجهود العلماء العرب القدامى في الاتصال. والثاني تطبيقي وقف فيه البحث عند آفاق الاتصال الإشاري في الشعر الجاهلي، فتحدث فيه عن لغة الجسد وحركاته وإيماءاتها المختلفة التي بدت واضحة جلية في الشعر الجاهلي، تسهم في التعبير وإيصال المعنى المطلوب وتحقيق المراد، وإحداث الاستجابة المأمولة، كما وقف البحث عند الرسائل الإشارية العامة الموجهة للجماعة بهدف التواصل والإعلام والإخبار في حالتي السلم والحرب لتلبية حاجات ضرورية لا غنى للمجتمع العربي الجاهلي عنها في ذلك العصر الذي كانت وسائل الاتصال فيه محدودة وبدائية قياسا بعصرنا هذا.

The purpose of this study is to show the prospects of the indicative communication in pre-Islamic poetry as an important means of human communication in that era between individuals and groups. The means of communication were not available in that era compared to our day. This type of “indicative communication” meets the necessary and important needs, speech -language may fail to meet them. Indicative communication is the best way to perform the required message because it is a kind of common discourse among humans. This study shows how the pre-Islamic poets revealed the images, methods and forms of indicative connection in their poetry, revealing an important aspect of the life, lifestyle, understanding, communication ,and expression of the Arabs at the time, through two sections: The first is the theoretical section, which illustrates the concept of human communication, by talking about communication (linguistic and terminological definitions), identifying the elements of the communication process, its foundation’s success, and the efforts of the old Arab scientists in communication. The second is the applied section, which shows the prospects of the indicative communication in the pre-Islamic poetry, including talking about the special body language, movements and various gestures that were present in pre-Islamic poetry, which contributes to the delivery of the required meaning, achieves the desired, and to create the desired response. In addition, the study dealt with general indicative letters which were addressed to the community, in order to communicate and inform in cases of peace and war to meet the indispensable needs of communities in that era, which was the means of communication are limited and primitive compared to means of our era.
