المستخلص: هدف البحث الحالي إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتفعيل دور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بالمملكة العربية السعودية في تنمية الوعي الصحي بفيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد 19) لدى أفرادها،. ولتحقيق ذلك اعتمدت الدراسة على المدخل المزجي النمط التفسيري التتابعي، حيث قام الباحثون بتطبيق استبانة إلكترونيا على عينة ممثلة من مجتمع البحث لجمع البيانات الكمية للتعرف على واقع تفاعل أفراد المجتمع مع فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد 19) من خلال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ومبررات استخدامهم لها، ودورها في تنمية الوعي الصحي بهذا الفيروس لديهم، ثم تطبيق أداة المقابلة على عينة قصدية منهم لجمع البيانات النوعية لتفسير النتائج وتأكيدها، كما اعتمدت الدراسة، على أسلوب دلفي للتعرف على متطلبات تفعيل دور مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في تنمية الوعي الصحي بهذا الفيروس لدى أفراد المجتمع، وقد توصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها: أن متوسط واقع تفاعل أفراد عينة البحث مع الأحداث الخاصة بالفيروس كوفيد 19 من خلال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي جاء مرتفعا، وأن أكثر مبررات استخدامهم لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي خلال فترة جائحة كورونا المستجد هو حاجتهم إلى متابعة الأخبار الجارية عن الجائحة، وأن متوسط واقع دور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في تنمية الوعي الصحي لأفراد المجتمع السعودي بفايروس كورونا جاء منخفضا، وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عنه نتائج البحث، ونتائج أسلوب دلفي، تم وضع تصور مقترح لتفعيل دور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في تنمية الوعي الصحي بفيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد 19) لدى أفراد المجتمع السعودي.

The aim of the current research is to develop a proposed scenario to activate the role of social media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in developing health awareness of the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) among its members. To achieve this, the study relied on the mixed approach and the sequential explanatory style, where the researchers applied an electronic questionnaire to a representative sample of the research community to collect quantitative data to identify the reality of community members’ interaction with the emerging corona virus (Covid 19) through social media, and the justifications for their use of it, And its role in developing their health awareness of this virus, then applying the interview tool to an intentional sample of them to collect qualitative data to interpret and confirm the results. The study also relied on the Delphi method to identify the requirements for activating the role of social networking sites in developing health awareness of this virus among members of society. The research led to several results, the most important of which are: that the average reality of the interaction of the research sample members with the events related to the virus Covid 19 through social media was high, and that the most justification for their use of social media during the period of the new Corona pandemic is their need to follow the current news about the pandemic, and that the average The reality of the role of social media in developing the health awareness of members of the Saudi society regarding the Corona virus was low, and in light of the results of the study. The results of the research, and the results of the Delphi method, a proposed scenario was developed to activate the role of social media in developing health awareness of the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) among members of Saudi society.
