المستخلص: L’industrie Textile, Habillement et Cuir (THC) joue un rôle très important dans l'économie tunisienne. En effet, il draine des flux de devises importants permettant de contribuer à l'amélioration de la situation économique et sociale du pays, et contribué à résoudre le problème de chômage en une grande partie, ... . Ainsi, nous allons étudier l’efficacité technique des entreprises THC tunisiennes, tout en tenant compte de l’hétérogénéité qui caractérise ce secteur, en utilisant les instruments économétriques appropriés. Dans le but de mesurer l’efficacité productive individuelle, nous nous sommes basés sur l’estimation économétrique d’une frontière de production stochastique avec données de panel incomplet. Nous avons enregistré que dans le secteur THC les entreprises tunisiennes sont techniquement efficace à un degré de 70% (en moyenne).

The Textile, Clothing and Leather (TCL) industry plays a very important role in the Tunisian economy. Indeed, it drains important currencies to contribute to the improvement of the economic and social situation of the country, and helped solve the problem of unemployment in a large part. Thus, we will study the technical efficiency of Tunisian TCL companies, while taking into account the heterogeneity that characterizes this sector, using the appropriate econometric instruments. In order to measure individual productive efficiency, we used the econometric estimation of a stochastic production frontier with unbalanced panel data. We have recorded that in the TCL sector Tunisian companies are technically efficient at a level of 70% (on average).
