المستخلص: L’architecture scolaire évolue à mesure de l’évolution des tendances pédagogiques dont elle est étroitement liée au service de l’efficacité scolaire des élèves. C’est ainsi que l’école, devenue un édifice spécifique il y a seulement quelques siècles, a connus différents styles architecturaux à travers l’histoire à savoir l’école traditionnelle refermée des pays francophones, l’école ouverte et modulable mais controversée des pays anglo-saxons et l’école standardisée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Par le biais du présent travail, nous passerons globalement en revue les différentes tendances de l’architecture scolaire depuis son essor. Nous soulignerons également les principaux impératifs pédagogiques érigés pour tout projet d’architecture scolaire, en souhaitant ainsi donner quelques pistes pour la conception d’un bâtiment scolaire et également de soulever une question à laquelle on devrait réfléchir sur l’école future: doit-on concevoir pour demain avec les conceptions d’hier?

School architecture is evolving as teaching trends evolve and is closely linked to the service of pupils' academic efficiency. Thus, the school, which became a specific building only a few centuries ago, has known different architectural styles throughout history, namely the traditional closed school of French-speaking countries, the open and modular school but controversial Anglo-Saxon countries and the standardized school after the Second World War. Through this work, we will review the various trends in school architecture since its inception. We will also highlight the main pedagogical imperatives for any school architecture project, hoping to give some ideas for the design of a school building and also to raise an issue to which we should reflect on the future school. Should we conceive for tomorrow with the conceptions of yesterday?

تتطور العمارة المدرسية مع تطور الاتجاهات التعليمية وترتبط ارتباطًا وثيقا بخدمة الكفاءة الأكاديمية للتلاميذ. أصبحت المدرسة مبنى محددًا منذ بضعة قرون فقط وقد عايشت أساليبًا معمارية مختلفة عبر التاريخ. المدرسة المغلقة التقليدية للبلدان الفرنسية، والمدرسة المفتوحة والمثيرة للجدل للدول الأنجلوسكسونية والمدرسة الموحدة بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية. من خلال هذا العمل، سوف نستعرض الاتجاهات المختلفة في الهندسة المدرسية منذ إنشائها وسنسلط الضوء أيضا على الضرورات التربوية الرئيسية التي أقيمت لأي مشروع معماري للمدرسة. هدفنا هو إعطاء بعض الأساسيات لتصميم مبنى مدرسي وكذلك لإثارة قضية ينبغي لنا التفكير فيها في المدرسة المستقبلية: هل نصمم للغد بتصاميم الأمس؟
