صناعة المكملات الملبسية من الصناعات التي احتلت مركز هام في مجال صناعة الملابس الجاهزة، وقد تناولت الباحثة وحدة الكشمير الزخرفية وتوظيفها وتطبيقها في مجال المكمل الملبسي (كعقد) كأسلوب من الأساليب التصميمية المستخدمة في الصناعات الجديدة المبتكرة للمكملات الملبسية، وقد تناولت الباحثة في الإطار النظري للبحث التصميم، تصميم مكملات الملابس، التقسيم العام لمكملات الملابس، الحلي، القلائد (العقد) والسلاسل، الخرز، الوحدة الزخرفية الكشمير، الألوان الهندية، نول الخرز، المشروعات الصغيرة أو متناهية الصغر، الخصائص التي تتميز بها الصناعات الصغيرة، دور الصناعات الصغيرة في التنمية، وفي التجارب العملية قامت الباحثة بتصميم 10 تصميمات تصلح للتنفيذ كعقد مستوحاه من وحدة الكشمير الزخرفية ومناسبة للمرأة من عمر 20 إلى 30 سنة، مستخدمة في التصميم ورق المربعات والألوان الخشب ثم قامت الباحثة بعرض هذه التصميمات على السادة المحكمين المتخصصين منفردين حتى تم الاستقرار على سبعة تصميمات مستوحاه من وحدة الكشمير الزخرفية من أصل عشرة، وقامت الباحثة بتنفيذ السبع تصميمات على نول الخرز ثم تم تصميم استمارة استطلاع الرأي للسادة المحكمين المتخصصين وأخرى للسادة المستهلكين ثم تم عرض السبع عقود المنفذة مع استمارات استطلاع الرأي الخاصة بالسادة المحكمين المتخصصين وعددهم 16 (أستاذ مساعد- أستاذ) من الجامعات المختلفة وأيضا تم عرض السبع عقود المنفذة مع استمارة استطلاع الرأي الخاصة بالسادة المستهلكين وعددهم 30 امرأة مستخدمة الإحصاء التطبيقي للوصول إلى النتائج وتحقيق فروض البحث.
