المستخلص: Research topic: The research deals with the collection and study of the sayings of Nusayr bin Yusuf al-Nahawi (d.240 AH) on the science of stopping and starting, in Qur’anic recitation. Research aims: 1.Revealing the status of Nusair bin Yusuf in Qur’anic readings and its sciences, most especially the science of stopping and starting in Qur’an. 2.Discovering the efforts of Nusair bin Yusuf al-Nahawi on stopping and starting in Qur’an. 3.Getting acquainted with the status of Nusayr bin Yusuf through the collection and study of his sayings on stopping and starting in the Qur'an. 4.Collecting the sayings of Nusayr on stopping and starting in the Qur’an. in one place, to make it easy to refer to and benefit from them. Research Methodology: - Nusayr’s sayings on stopping and starting in the Qur’an were collected from reliable sources in this art, with their multiple and diverse resources. - Nusayer's sayings were mentioned in their text as they appeared in those sources, with their various texts being listed in one place. - Naseer’s sayings on the stopping and starting in the Qur’an were referenced from the sources from which they were quoted. - The sayings of the scholars of stopping and starting in the Qur’an were mentioned –when needed-, as an additional clarification and explanation. Main findings of the research : - The sayings of Nusayr on stopping and starting in the Qur’an are considered among the advanced sources in this science, and they are found in the recognized primary sources and transmitted by the senior scholars. - The large number of sayings narrated from Nusayr on stopping and starting in the Qur’an., which indicates his position and the consideration of his words among the people of this art. - The large number of sources that included his sayings, and quoted him on this science. - The importance of collecting these sayings emerges when it becomes apparent that his book which he wrote on the science of stopping and starting in the Qur’an has been lost.

يتناول البحث جمع ودراسة أقوال نصير بن يوسف النحوي (ت240هـ) في الوقف والابتداء. أهداف البحث: إظهار مكانة نصير بن يوسف في القراءات وعلومها، خاصة علم الوقف والابتداء. الوقوف على جهود نصير بن يوسف النحوي في الوقف والابتداء. التعرف على منهج نصير بن يوسف النحوي من خلال جمع ودراسة أقواله في الوقف والابتداء. جمع أقوال نصير في الوقف والابتداء في مكان واحد، ليسهل الرجوع إليها والإفادة منها. منهج البحث: جمعت أقوال نصير في الوقف والابتداء من المصادر المعتبرة في هذا الفن، مع تعددها واختلاف مواردها. ذكرت أقوال نصير بنصها كما وردت في تلك المصادر، مع إيراد نصوصهم المختلفة في الموضع الواحد. وثقت أقوال نصير في الوقف والابتداء من مصادرها المنقولة منها. ذكرت أقوال علماء الوقف والابتداء في تلك المواضع –عند الحاجة- زيادة في الإيضاح والبيان. أهم نتائج البحث: تعتبر أقوال نصير في الوقف والابتداء من المصادر المتقدمة في هذا العلم، فقد تضمنتها المصادر الأصلية المعتبرة، ونقلها كبار الأئمة. كثرة أقوال المروية عن نصير في الوقف والابتداء، مما يدل على مكانته واعتبار أقواله عند أهل الفن. كثرة المصادر التي تضمنت أقواله، وذكرت نقولاته في هذا العلم. تبرز أهمية جمع هذه الأقوال عندما يتبين فقدان كتابه الذي ألفه في علم الوقف والابتداء.
