المستخلص: Freedom-depriving punishment revolves in modem punitive thought on rehabilitating the juvenile sentenced and reintegrating him into society again, and protecting society by correcting it and retuming it as a good citizen. The Moroccan legislator, by allocating legal requirements that take into account the young age of the juvenile and his incomplete maturity, as well as the circumstances that prompted him to commit the criminal act, tried to create educational means capable of reforming and reintegrating him into the community during the implementation of the freedom-depriving punishment issued against him. The issue of the effects of the execution of punishment on juveniles is of special importance, in light of the main objective of the modem criminal policy aimed at reforming and rehabilitating the delinquent juvenile, and this issue has a current that is attracted by modem punitive policies and contemporary intellectual currents that aim to reduce punishment and replace it with alternative therapeutic, integrative and educational measures. However, the juvenile serving the sentence in a closed space in the correctional institutions results in economie, social and psychological effects that impede the integration process.
