المستخلص: تنبع أهمية الدراسة من كونها تعمل على دراسة التطور التاريخي للنظام الاجتماعي لقبائل البني عامر في شرق السودان، وذلك بتتبع بعض المراحل التاريخية للنظام الإداري والاجتماعي لهذا المكون والتعرف على أثرهم على أحداث تلك الحقب التاريخية والآثار التي انعكست عليهم في تكوينهم الإثني والثقافي والاجتماعي. لا يمكننا التحدث عن قبيلة البني عامر بمعزل عن الإطار العام لقبائل البجا، أي المجموعة البجاوية التي تقطن إقليم شرق السودان. ولا يمكننا استباق الحديث عن البجا بالحديث عن البني عامر قبل أن ندلف عبر بوابة البجا الكبيرة، وذلك حتى يكون سردنا للأحداث يتسق ومنطق التاريخ. يهتم الدراسة بدراسة التاريخ الإداري والاجتماعي لقبائل البني عامر كما يهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على بعض سمات وتراث هذه القبيلة -كواحدة من قبائل المجموعة البجاوية -في إطار واحد وذلك لإثراء المكتبة العربية وسد النقص في هذه الجوانب التاريخية، كما تهدف إلى جمع المعلومات المبعثرة عن هذه القبيلة في كتب الرواد العرب وترجمة كتابات الكتاب الأجانب وتقديمها في إطار هذا البحث. اتبعت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي والوصفي التحليلي، وقد تعرفنا من خلال البحث والتمحيص والتدقيق على أهم السمات والمميزات لهذه المجموعة البجاوية، التي شاركت بقية المجموعة البجاوية الوطن الممتد عبر المساحات الشاسعة التي عرفت عبر التاريخ ببلاد البجا. كما تعرفنا على مميزاتها وسماتها وعلاقاتها البينية، واستطعنا الوقوف على إرثها الثقافي وحياتها الاجتماعية التي تختلف عن الآخرين في بعضها وتتفق معهم في البعض الآخر. ثم تأتي فعالية هذه المجموعة البجاوية -أي قبيلة البني عامر بوضع فرضية حول مشاركتها وإسهامها في حركة التاريخ منذ فترات تاريخية ضاربة الجذور في أعماق التاريخ. وهكذا يكون البحث في مجملة محاولة لتقديم صورة تاريخية واضحة التقاسيم والمعالم عن هذه المجموعة الإثنية في محاولة للتعرف على الماضي البعيد والقريب واستقراء المستقبل. لا يتثنى لنا الوصول إلى أصل وتكوين وتاريخ قبيلة البني عامر بمعزل عن تاريخ البجا بصورة عامة، لأن مجموعة البني عامر هي واحدة من المجموعات البجاوية التي قطنت المنطقة منذ غابر الزمان، سواء كان تحت مسمى بجا، أو بعد اختلاطها بالمهاجرين العرب، وطغى عليها كما على غيرها بالإضافة إلى اسم (البجا)، مسمى (البلو) و(الحدارب).

We cannot anticipate talking about Beja by talking about Bani Amer before we go through the large Beja gate, so that our narration of events is consistent with the logic of history. The Study is concerned with the Study of administrative history It also aims to shed light on some of the features and heritage of this tribe - as one of the tribes of the Bejawi group - in one framework in order to enrich the Arab library and fill the deficiency in these historical aspects. It also aims to collect scattered information about this tribe in the books of Arab pioneers and translate The writings of foreign writers and their presentation in the framework of this research. The Study followed the historical and descriptive analytical method, and through research, scrutiny and scrutiny, we got to know the most important features and advantages of this Beja group, which participated in the rest of the Beja group, the homeland extending across the vasl areas that were known throughout history in the country of Beja. We also got acquainted with its features, characteristics, and its interrelationships, and we were able to stand on its cultural heritage and social life, which differ from others in some and agree with them in others. Then comes the effectiveness of this Bejawi group - i.e. the Bani Amer tribe by making a hypothesis about its participation and contribution to the movement of history since historical periods deeply rooted in history. Thus, the research in its entirety is an attempt to present a clear historical picture of this ethnic group in an attempt to identify the distant past. The near and the extrapolation of the future. It is not possible for us to reach the origin, formation and history of the Bani Amer tribe in isolation from the history of the Beja in general. The Bani Amer group is one of the Beja groups that have inhabited the region since ancient times, whether it was under the name Beja, or after mixing with the Arab immigrants, and it overwhelmed it as well as over others in addition to the name (Beja), called (Blue) and (Hadareb).
